I have a crush on my best friend. I just try to ignore it mostly because he is the gentleman type so he has a lot of girl friends so I don't know if he sees me as a friend or a crush, but I don't want to find out years from now that he actully had a crush on me and now it's too late you know, so any advice would be helpful, thank you in advance

Well if you're really unsure, I would wait. You don't have to wait years and years, but wait untill you can be a bit more sure about his feelings.
Better to have the friendship and a secret crush, then tell him how you feel and then suddenly the friendship is awkward if he doesn't feel the same.
You have two options: Tell him and be done with it. Not tell him and just move on. I'd tell him, you never know what could happen. But I'd only tell him if you know he treats you differently from all of his female friends. If you don't know, ask a close friend or have her snoop around a bit.
