Lucien sort of snickered at Tybalt from behind him as his body posture indicated his displeasure at arriving in the room. It couldn't be that bad, could it? Lucien was trying to look over his shoulder to see the room but unfortunately all the air elemental could see the back of Tybalt. It wasn't until the black dog addressed the Sylph that he got a good look of the room. Frankly, he was a little bewildered, and Tybalt's questions really didn't ease that thundering curiosity that ached him.

"Perhaps he expects us to look deep into ourselves and see what is really there," Lucien suggested, half jokingly as he floated alongside of the black dog. He was pretty fond of Tybalt now, having many classes with him and even being on the Track and Field team with him. He seemed to have a sense of adventure that Lucien just really loved. He kept his attention, which was something Lucien could always appreciate and they seemed to have common ideals... yes, ideals. That was a good word. A better word for trouble to get into. Lucien was probably going to be the air to Tybalt's fire.

Lucien had no idea on the make-up kits, and just gave the dog a look to say he had as much of a guess as the other.

It was a good thing the black dog was here though because Lucien had practically forgotten about the assignment in his hands when the other remembered to hand his in. Lucien jolted and made a soft "ah" noise as he too pulled out a piece of paper, although not as crumpled, and placed it on top of Tybalt's paper in front of the teacher.

Sitting at the vanity, relatively comfortable and prepared, are Tybalt and Lucien.

Appeal

Lucien looked at Professor Tailor intently as he listened to what they were going to do. He wanted to make sure he did it right, after all. Mischief had to be done correctly and this was the perfect excuse to do it. He made a few notes in his head about each of the items he wanted to use and then as he looked at Tybalt a grin slowly spread across his lips.

"Ready?" He asked, leaving Tybalt little choice in the matter as he sent his plan into motion.

Lucien went up and dug into the box as he grabbed foundation in a ghostly white colour, quick-set hairdye that was also white, spirit gum and single-use contact lenses. He paused on the contact lenses though, eying a pair of cat eyes. He thought about them for a long time, and just as he was about to grab them he caught sight of a pair of pink ones with a strange star design in the middle. This was it! He grabbed that and shoved it into his pile of items in his arm before digging down deep and grabbing some kind of fabric. Along with a few tools from the box and a few miscellaneous items he thought might be helpful, he was done. Lucien felt accomplished.

"Well, that should do it."

Lucien hurried back over to Tybalt, eying Professor Tailor in the process. Then he looked at Tybalt, serious face on his features. It was time for business, and with a little fight from Tybalt, Lucien stuck the pink star contact lenses into Tybalt's pupils. Oh, how pretty.

Lucien had to take a moment to consider what to do next as he took a moment to admire Tybalt's new eyes. After he did the order of what he should do made a little more sense to him. So he grabbed the spirit gum from his pile and softly covered Tybalt's face with it, twisting and molding it into a big :3 smile. No more toothy smile for him, it was too Tybalt.

Next he grabbed the hair dye and the foundation both at the same time, weighing them each in either hand. Which would go next? It took him a moment, a long moment. Deciding, Lucien put down the foundation and held on tightly to the hairspray. He suggested Tybalt close his eyes, because Lucien had never done this before and when reading the label it said "DO NOT GET IN EYES"... It took him MUCH longer to do this, and when he finally did he looked at Tybalt and giggled. Pink eyes with stars in them, white hair and a :3 face. Lucien imagined that :3 face was not how Tybalt was feeling at all when he looked at himself in the mirror. Unfortunately, it was not the end yet. He could still see Tybalt's black skin, and really, how many creatures really had black skin on campus. Not many. Green, purple, orange, maybe, but black?

Lucien dug around in his pile a bit more and with a small gasp, Lucien pulled out a few clips he found and used them to hold Tybalt's new hair colour out of the way. Picking up the foundation and a brush, he began to apply the ghostly white foundation with a brush to Tybalt's black skin. It went on surprisingly easy, covering the black without much work.

"All don--" Lucien paused, rearranging the clips on Tybalt's head and then after digging around some, pulling out a pink fabric bow and tied it in his hair. It was very messily tied because well, Lucien wasn't in the habit of tying bows in hair. Then he grabbed a large white piece of cloth and draped it over Tybalt's shoulders, covering his usual outfit.

"All don--" He stopped again, scurrying around some more, running back to the box and pulling out a bit of pigment in a flush pink colour. He rushed back over to Tybalt who surprisingly hadn't moved, perhaps waiting to kill Lucien. But regardless, Lucien grabbed another brush and quickly put a little pink star on the check of Tybalt's new white skin. He set the brush down, took Tybalt in and grinned.

"All done! You look nothing like Tybalt!"

At this point, Lucien didn't look too much like Lucien either. He was covered in various things from applying it to Tybalt.

"I did a good job, didn't I?" He asked, looking around, looking at Tybalt.

Appeal

Lucien did not understand his friend's distraught behaviour about his appearance. He was only doing what he had been told! Tybalt didn't look at all like Tybalt, that was a good thing... wasn't it? Lucien was a little worried about the way Tybalt was looking at him and before he could say anything the black dog ran off and got supplies.

Of course, Tybalt came back.

Lucien was about to welcome him back when he cut him off and suddenly sprayed him with the hair dye before he even had a chance to give him a syllable! Lucien found himself coughing a little, looking at Tybalt in a strange way. Why was he grinning that way? Was he enjoying Lucien's displeasure... oh right, spirit gum.

Lucien seen a piece of rainbow coloured hair slide across his cheek and was about to question it when Tybalt's hands came at him again, this time with spirit gum. He wasn't very gentle about it though, pushing it on his face with a strong hand. Lucien was really wondering just what he did to get this sort of attention from his friend! Slowly, he seen his face warp and... extend. Just what was Tybalt doing?

Silently, Lucien sat through the foundation and pigment process until finally Tybalt came at him with contacts. Oh no he didn't! Lucien wiggled and squirmed, even hitting Tybalt with his muzzle like face as he did. He did not like the idea of things in his eyes, why else would he carry goggles around with him constantly! Much to Lucien's dismay though, Tybalt finally managed to get those contacts in Lucien's eyes, causing a very pouty face to form on his lips as he rubbed at his eyes, blinking obsessively.

Lucien barely even noticed when Tybalt came back and whacked a horn onto his head. It startled him though, and he immediately looked up and seen himself in the mirror. He looked at Tybalt who was smiling widely as he could much like a cheshire cat.

He stared, his eyes sparkling in the light of the mirror. At the same time his hands were slipping through his hair, somewhat longingly. Oh, his poor hair. Would this come out easily? He was going to have rainbow tips for weeks if it didn't!

"Oh," was all he could say. "Oh."

He felt it wasn't the right thing to say though and instead tried a "Nay," before staring at Tybalt. He was trying to find the words. "Tybalt..." He said, his voice low and distraught. Here it was coming... "Why..." It was slowly coming...

"Why did you have to do a better job than me!"

Quote:

Poor Lucien still had sharply swipes of pigment across his cheeks.

Battle 3 Gluttony

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=20480041

Appeal
All the while little miss Glutton was in her kitchen brewing away for her precious Steve, Lucien was wandering in the woods with his own agenda. He didn't really want to feed Steve or even meet him again after the incident that will remain unnamed, but he figured this would be the perfect practice meal and if Steve accidentally choked on whatever he made and died of asphyxia then it wouldn't be such a big loss. Lucien considered the idea Steve might not have to breathe, and then Steve just would have to go around with a huge lump in his throat where the food bulged. Maybe if he got lucky he'd really screw up and he'd poison him.

Lucien was thankful he didn't have to actually walk through the swamp, very pleased he was able to simply move over it. It really didn't look too pleasing, and he certainly didn't want a mud-bath. He did however need ingredients and little miss Glutton mentioned finding the perfect things for her master plan... whatever that was, here in the swamp.

The first thing that caught Lucien's attention wasn't so much his own choice. You don't really have a choice when a HUGE, but dull coloured moth lands on your head. He felt like he was going to end up in the mud below him and he found himself desperately shaking his head, but the moth refused to leave even when Lucien threatened to stick his head into the mud. The moth knew his bluff. Lucien had no choice but to continue on in search, moth content on his head.

He went on for awhile, nothing catching his attention... until from the sky above him...! What this? A ball of... well, Lucien wasn't sure what this ball was of, but it whacked him in the face, nearly causing the poor guy to fall in the mud. It had landed on a soft pad of grass and beside it, a very pretty pink flower. He looked between the two items, and reached for the flower only to be pricked with the thorns of the flower.

"Ow!" He shrieked, tucking the flower in a bag in a huff.

He angrily grabbed the strange ball that clubbed him in the face and stuffed that too into the bag, vaguely wondering where it had come from. He had enough of that nonsense though and gave trying to shake the moth from his head another try. It refused to leave and Lucien once again found himself going through the swamp with a huge moth on his head. Maybe it was a new fashion statement?

None of the stuff he gathered was really edible by any standards and he was sure that the flower was going to taste lovely as it sliced up Steve's throat as it went down, and that just wouldn't be very good at all. Not in the least. Well, that's what he'd tell everyone. How sad, I'm sorry Steve... not. Lucien really should get over it, it wasn't Steve's fault he got hit by a billion instruments and now seemed to be a magnet for being hit by things. Even if it wasn't his fault though, it didn't mean Lucien couldn't blame him for it.

After a bit, Lucien got tired of staring at the ground and looked up towards the trees. There he noticed strange eggs, just sitting on a tree branch. They weren't even in a nest, that was just weird. That was just begging for Lucien to grab them, and he did. He stuffed them carefully into the bag and as he was about to continue on... an irate bird attacked him.

"Wah!" He let out, spinning around to face the bird. "Hey! Quit it!"

The bird would not quit it, and Lucien could not figure out why.

"I love birds, why do you not love me?" He yelped, but the bird kept pecking at him furiously. He was tired of things attacking him, it was too much in such a short period of time! Too much! Lucien grabbed the bird, "EAT STEVE," he said, putting the bird in the bag and quickly closing it. There was something about that bird that reminded him of someone... someone. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but it reminded him of someone he knew.

He had enough of this swamp though, and quickly hurried out.

He didn't even bother with a plate. He carefully reached into the bag and grabbed the ball of... well, whatever it was, he grabbed it. He then used it to pick out the thorny flower. It finally crumbled all over the table.

He took the pink petals off of the flower and stuck them into a pot of water. The pink colour and all of the fibre and taste were slowly seeping into the water. It would make a fine coating. He couldn't help but grumble as he heard slight squawking coming from the bag.

Then he brushed the crumbled stuff off the table from the ball that hit him in the head and dusted that into the pot of pink flower sauce, it thickening the liquid into something closer to a paste. It wasn't thick enough though, so he absent-mindedly opened the bag to grab the eggs and the bird, even more angry than it was before, flew out.

"Ah!" He hollered, throwing the eggs into the pot as he went to defend himself from the very irate bird. He heard a bubbling noise, and carefully peeked into the pot to see the eggs had broken when they landed in the pot and they were just yolk. It was not a pleasant looking yolk, a very bright blue yellow colour. They weren't even fertilized!

"Whhhhyyyyyyyy?" He said as the bird pecked him again.

The bird flew back a little and spun around and then flew back at Lucien. This time he ducked, and the bird flew right into the pot. The bird was knocked out cold and since it didn't struggle to get out the liquid paste inside of the pot attached itself to the bird. Then the strangest thing happened: the moth finally left Lucien's head and landed on the bird's head. It got stuck and it wiggled unhappily, sprinkling it's moth dust all in the pot. That couldn't be healthy, but that would be perfect for Steve!

The day was finally starting to turn around and he was finally done.

He put up the final touches. A sign on the table. "For Steve,

P.S. Do not eat miss Glutton."

And then Lucien was gone, off somewhere getting ice for his head.

STUDENT COUNCIL WELCOME PARTY

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=20548771

[color=white]
Lucien had just happened to wander by at the right time when Rain mentioned something about rolling a dice. A chance to win a silver pumpkin seed? He did like the shiny coat the silver pumpkin seed offered his blue eyes, it shined so nicely. It could easily distract his thoughts and finally the idea compelled the air elemental and he found himself wandering over.

He didn't recognized many people as he walked by, but he did recognize the president, but not by that name. He only recognized her from the Track and Field team. He had a small pout on his mouth, but then he thought about the silver pumpkin seed and smiled as he said, "Greetings," and picked up the dice and rolled it.

[color=white]
Lucien was rather disappointed that he didn't get to take a shiny silver pumpkin seed to the bank later... but he'd get over it and move on eventually. He'd be able to grow his collection of seeds that he had stored away in the bank, he would survive without that one silver seed he missed out on getting. His thoughts were consumed with the thought of pumpkin seeds until finally something grabbed his attention... well, his arm.

He found himself snapping out of his silver seed daze and he turned around to find out what he grabbed him. He didn't see anything at first... until he looked down and seed a head of black hair. He recognized this head, it was that small creature he met at the maul and had an adventure with. Good times, good times. He smiled down at her, floating contently. He thought on it quickly, and finally her name dawned on him.

"Greetings Amrita," he said, pleased he was able to remember her name. "What brings you here?"

[color=white]
He nodded to Amrita, something being interesting was a great reason to go somewhere. It wasn't the reason Lucien was here though, in fact, he wasn't sure why he was here. He just was. It happened a lot, but he was excited about coming, he had gotten to roll some dice and see some shiny silver pumpkin seeds. Then there was Amrita, getting to see her again was pleasing.

"I just followed the wind," he admitted.

He turned to the gryphon who Amrita had introduced him to. A friend of hers? All he knew of her was that she had won a shiny silver pumpkin seed earlier. He pouted slightly, jealous that she had won one and he hadn't. But he didn't want to upset Amrita with his feelings so he nodded to the other and greeted her, "Nice to meet you, Tahki."

[color=white]
Lucien looked at Tahki and tilted his head. Was he new? He didn't think he was new. He had been in the skies for a long time! He was pleased to have gone unnoticed though. That would be a handy skill to have. His parents would be pleased. But he wasn't new, so it was a simple answer and it started with Lucien shaking his head in a no response.

"I am not new," he said. "You do not look new either."

A pause.

"You have nice wings," he said.

He looked down to Amrita who had a familiar look on her face and replied to her with an "Of course, of course, the wind of course."

It took a moment though, and Lucien finally noticed Obsidian who asked to join them. He didn't mind although he immediately said "Hello Obsidian," before she could even mention to call her Siddie. After a moment, he looked down to look at Amrita and he noticed her behavior seemed to change. It changed much like it had when they first met and he found himself reaching to pat her gently on the head just like he had in the past.

"I like your hat," he said abruptly.

[color=white]
Lucien found himself playing with his goggles when Tahki mentioned them. He nodded to her, he much liked them himself. He wished he had wings that were feathery and fluffy, but he'd have to accept his would always be what they were, made of air. Pondering on the thought, he couldn't help but fidget until he was finally sitting comfortably mid-air at Amrita's height.

He noticed another creature come over, but he found himself wondering just what Obsidian was looking at, but upon not seeing anything, he directed his attention to the new ghoul with the teeth on her stomach. That was a strange trait, much stranger than having backwards feet and reversed hands. He felt like he'd met her before somewhere, the idea of a small ghoul with a grin on her stomach didn't seem like something he'd just... imagine.

"Why is there is a gnawing grin on your stomach?" He asked with a small tilt of his head.

[color=white]
Lucien found himself staring at the giant mouth on the one named Claire. He imagined all the fun things he could do with a mouth on his stomach. He could bite people with a hug, he could eat and drink at the same time, he could quickly dispose of evidence... Lucien found himself sighing. Oh how he wished he had a giant mouth on his stomach.

He was about to reply to Amrita about the drink when a piercing noise turned his brain to mush and as it slowly reconfigured itself, all he heard was silver and his attention went to the skinwalker. A new chance for a shiny and all he had to do was drink? That didn't sound bad. Drink? He turned to Amrita and grinned, "I'll go with you," and without waiting he rushed over to the punch.

Nine shots!? Wait. What were shots? Whatever, silver pumpkins seed called him!

Lucien quickly drank one cup after another until he had nine. He turned to look at Amrita and it looked like there were two of her slowly shuffling around. Whoa. He felt... kind of weird. Was that normal? He found himself bringing his goggles to his face. He tilted his head one way, tilted it the other.

"Amrita!" He yelled happily, a happy grin on his face.

PINK ELEPHANT HERE.

[color=white]
"Have some punch," he exclaimed to Amrita.

Lucien was looking around the room now as it spun around his head. He seen... elephants everywhere. It wasn't a good combination. It wasn't a good combination, not at all. Not in the least. The spiked punch straining on his mind and the illusionary punishment of bright, florescent pink elephants were now mixing in Lucien's brain. They were making a special little concoction that was ready to explode.

Lucien's cheeks were growing flush as the minutes past. The elephants were getting bigger and they floated just like him! Just like... Lucien's eyes shot over and he spotted Israfel... just like Israfel, that's who! He found his look lingering on the siren and as if the siren were singing a wonderful song, the sylph floated towards him.

"Israfel!" He said happily. He had not seen the other since Shadowcraft 101 and in his current state he was very happy to see him again. He didn't waste time and he hurried over to him. He was not horrified in the least by the large, pink elephants and highly amused. With haste, Lucien started pointing around the room to where he found an elephant. "Look at them, Israfel!" He exclaimed to the siren, moving in to try and wrap his arms around to... hug the siren.

[color=white]
Lucien was a little surprised that Israfel hadn't thrown him off his back much like he recalled his shadow had done to his shadow. Of course, it was a pleasant surprise, especially in Lucien's current nine cup, elephant delusional state. He was much, much happier that they were getting along better than their shadows had!

He found himself softly clinging to the siren, happy to be carried around on his back and pointing readily in the direction the siren moved to. To the pink elephant! Oh, how he wanted to poke one as soon as the siren suggested it. How did he not think of that idea before?! Lucien must not have been thinking straight if he had thought about poking the elephants before hand!

"Ooooh! That is a brilliant idea!" He exclaimed, arm over the siren's head -- finger pointed outward and ready. "I want to poke one!"

[color=white]
Still flung over Israfel's back, Lucien could be heard yelling, "Poke the pink elephants!" before bursting into spurts of laughter as he swung his arm around at the elephant visionaries trying to catch them and poke them both at the same time. He pouted after a moment and finally decided to flop his arms over the siren and wrap them loosely around the siren's neck, finger ready to poke if an elephant made a move and appeared close enough to his reach!

SILVER PUMPKIN SEED WINNING HERE.

[color=white]
Higher than a kite would ever reach, Lucien had completely forgotten about the shiny silver pumpkin seed reward that was the cause of this whole drink the nine cups of punch game. He'd remember about the pumpkin seed later and possibly the bathroom, but right now, it didn't seem likely and it didn't seem like the skinwalker was on that train of thought anymore either. Not that Lucien even noticed, he was too distracted with the otherwise growing room of pink elephants.

And it was all going so well too... until Israfel had booped him. He had a strange look of betrayal on his face as he let out a whail of his trumpet as he clung to... a pink elephant below him?! His face immediately changed as he pondered... Where did Israfel go? Lucien found himself clinging even more tightly to the pink elephant of Israfel below him as he wondered just where Israfel had gone to. Was it a new game? Did Israfel not want to be a bird anymore? Were pink elephants better? Did Israfel not want to be around him anymore? Lucien did not like this train of thought!

"Israfeeeeeeeeeeel," Lucien whined, tightly clinging to the elephant below him in place of his lovely feathered friend, and then he idlying found himself poking it as he went from whining to giggling like a fool.

[color=white]
"Ah!" Lucien yelped as he was surprisingly booped by the elephant, causing him to stop his poking. Well, that only made him want to poke back but then the elephant decided to spin around and around and almost tripped! But then the most peculiar thing happened... the elephant started to mix some sort of paste and then... drew. Just how did it do that? Lucien was amazed. He had to give the elephant a pat on the head.

"GOOD JOB," he yelled, a little louder than he meant to.

Lucien heard another boop and before he knew it there was something cold and wet on his forehead. He used the back of his hand to wipe the sticky ink off, and then held it up to look at it. It was... pink? Just like the elephant, they matched! If the elephant wanted to keep booping him then he'd have to boop back! Except, Lucien didn't know exactly what boop meant. He was totally serious when he used his whole body and flopped it against the pink elephant as a giant poke though. He wiggled around and giggled even more than he did the first time!

[color=white]
Lucien had so much of the punch that it was taking an extra long time for the effects of it to die down. The pink elephants were very slowly disappearing, enough that Israfel was no longer one. At first he was sad his elephant friend left, but then he noticed it was Israfel and Lucien's face lit up, still rather flushed. Oh, he was so happy his bird had come back to him! What was the saying about freeing things and them coming back...? Lucien couldn't quite remember.

[color=white]
Lucien was ecstatic, and it wasn't the toxin from the pink elephant inducing punch. Although he was still bubbly and flushed, that was not the cause of his ecstasy. Israfel hugged him! But then a very late student council member, Gargantuan, had to show up. Distracting him with his fall, Lucien looked over at the bucket that Gargantuan had dropped...

Frogs.

Lots of half squished frogs.

Lucien wasn't sure how to feel. They were half squished, which was sad... but then they stood up and surprised Lucien with a very strange behaviour that ended up with Israfel giving Lucien a chair. Really? What? Either way, it didn't seem like Israfel was doing well on his own. He nodded to Israfel as he gave a quick "Okay!" as he took the chair Israfel had given him.

"Bad frogs! Get away from us!" He yelped at them as he used the chair to the best of his ability. Surely he had to do better than fresh out of the bucket, straight into the punch ninja frogs. Right?

Lucien wasn't quite sure what had possessed him to come, but something about the idea of acting like someone else interested the air elemental. He could be someone completely different. He could act like someone completely different! He could be great and powerful, shy and sweet, he could be a... dog?! Lucien's eyes narrowed down on the cast list. Ohhh. Lucien grinned widely. He definitely wanted to be a dog! He could be just like Tybalt: a ghost dog!

His eyes dazed over the cast information which was very short for the character of... Zero. He had to be a dog? All four legs? Wait, Lucien didn't have four legs? He fidgeted. How would he get another set of legs? He sighed, putting his arms on his head as he considered his options. Oh! Arms, that's right! He would use his arms! He finished over the character details finally noticing the bit about how he had to float, oh! Lucien could do that!

He waited as patiently as he could, getting down in the air on his knees so that his legs weren't so much longer than himself. He watched the two in front of him until it was finally his turn and he wandered onto the stage, hunched over and smaller than usual. He sat down, hands in front of his legs evenly.

"I AM ZERO--I MEAN, LUCIEN," he corrected, remembering he wasn't quite a dog yet. "I am trying for the part of the ghost dog, Zero!"

With that, he floated around the stage in the shape of a dog. He sat, rolled over and even spoke, "Woof!" He appeared to chase something around the stage and then off into the distance.

Lucien had wandered by this place a few times but never when there was actually room on the list to sign up. He slowly went over the names on the list and then curiosity struck him when he noticed the name "Amrita" on the sheet of paper. The effect of this caused him to actually read what the paper was for and his eyes narrowed down. Oh, oh, he was in. Tybalt wouldn't be the only one who had been in this class! Without thinking anymore, Lucien quickly scribbled his name on the sixth place on the sign up sheet.

He tugged at the pen a little but it wouldn't leave. Well, that was boring. His pen was better anyways. He made a check in the check box under 'air' and dropped the pen back down. After a moment of looking over the sheet, Lucien walked away with a grin plastered on his face.

Lucien was really, really excited! A class about pets, animals, oh joy! He was so excited he seemed to float -- oh, that was normal. It must have been the big smile that said he was excited but no, that was normal too. With nothing left, it most definitely must have been Lucien's whail going "I'm so excited!" as he wandered down the hallway to his classroom.

He went in and.. of course, all he could do was be surprised. It wasn't at all what he had expected which caused the air elemental great disappointment. And then, great confusion as he found that he had wandered into what seemed to be a maze... Lucien was not sure how this maze got here, but how dare it try and stop him from finding some creatures to play with! Maybe there were creatures in the maze! Lucien's eyes lit up and he pushed into the maze in search...

Roll 1- If you roll a 11-100, you pass and can go on to round two. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

Upon entering the maze you meet a tiny little imp, seemingly injured and whining at you for help. The imp is green in color and maybe only 2 feet tall. It is thin and looks as if they have a splinter in their foot. (If you roll a 11-100 you can do whatever you like, help or not, and you still pass. If you roll a 1-10... well helping it or not it will turn on you and chase you out of the maze.)

Lucien would have walked on the little imp had he been one to actually do so but instead he sort of just floated it over it until his eyes opened wide and he stopped. It was so small! It... didn't look happy at all that Lucien had basically floated over it and had not noticed it was in pain there on the ground. Finally, Lucien did notice it, but only because the angry little imp had decided to turn on him and he was trying to get away from it, floating as fast as he could out of the maze. He was happy he found a creature but disappointed he didn't get to play with it.

Appeal

Lucien couldn't help but wonder about the poor injured creature who had chased him out of the maze the last time he was in class. Was it still hurt? Did someone help it something after the imp had chased him out of the maze and while he was gone or was it laying in the maze crying in pain? He was at a cross between how he wanted to feel. Did he want to be upset with the crazy thing that chased him out of the maze or concerned? Determined to get through the maze, Lucien would find out as he slowly began his journey into the maze.

"Oh imp?" He asked, as he walked through, looking down this time to see if there was anything down there.

Ah ha!

Lucien spotted the little imp, injured on the ground, whining rather prominently as Lucien approached it. This time he didn't float over it, and it didn't chase him out. The air elemental found himself kneeling down in front of the little imp and after fighting with it for a moment to get its foot, attempted to pull the splinter out of it. It was slow, and steady as Lucien used one hand to pull out the splinter and the other to make sure the imp didn't fuss too much.

After a moment, Lucien chuckled to himself, grinned and held the splinter out to the imp, "All better!"

The imp sat there and stopped whining, and as Lucien preferred, didn't chase him out of the maze as he stood up and floated past it, heading deeper into the maze...

If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. )

Lucien was happily floating along though the maze when he bumped into a block in the path! He stared for a moment, wondering why exactly there was a huge boulder in his way... and then it moved. Lucien jumped back, and made a rather dignifying noise as he looked around. There was no other way out... and then to make his situation worse, the boulder thought it would be a great idea to talk to him! Lucien didn't want to tell a strange talking boulder a story, or riddle, but he didn't want to go backwards after not being chased out.

"Okay," he said, thinking hard.

"Um. I have a rock. I pass it to you. Who has the rock?"

Lucien had made it past the talking boulder and thankfully would soon be able to forget that strange incident but he found himself slowing to a stop after he heard a rather large and menacing sound from the pathway nearby. The air elemental grabbed as much air into him as he could and held it, so he wouldn't make any noise but... he lost his breath when he seen a very strange red and white glow.

Lucien really didn't want to meet it, or become its meat so Lucien beat it around the corner...

Lucien was relieved he had made it around the corner and there wasn't a beast there waiting to eat him. Instead, he found a small basket with a ball inside of it with a... horse decoration beside it? How realistic! He slowly moved over to the basket, ignoring the weird noise and uneasy feeling he was getting the closer he got to it. It was all going fine until he reached in to grab one of the balls and he noticed the decoration was gone! Uneasily, he turned around to find an angry horse staring down at him right green eyes.

He jumped back, and floated very fast to any exit he could find as the horse chased him out of the maze! What was with this maze?!

Lucien was a late for class, and in rather quite a hurry when he made it to Creature Feature. Of course, there was no sign of the teacher and the maze was once again tempting the air elemental spirit. There was no question, there was no choice... Lucien entered the maze once again. It seemed he didn't remember how he ran away from a great beast last time he dared to enter.

Nor did he remember that there was an imp that liked to play in the middle of the path and he floated right over the thing as it whined and cried for his help. The imp seemed to hold no ill will to Lucien for this thought and allowed him to pass by and onto a dead end... sort of. There was a boulder in Lucien's way and it was asking him to tell it a story? Why did this seem to familiar? Lucien shook his head and thought.

"What is always slow to come, but never actually happens?"

Not saying a word, the boulder moved and allowed Lucien to pass.

Lucien stopped suddenly in his tracks as he heard a noise. A rather bizarre noise. He decided it was in his better interest to hold still, and hope whatever it was went away. But the breathing didn't stop, but it seemed to be moving around him. Lucien didn't quite understand why until a beast appeared around the corner and ran towards him. He nearly didn't put the pieces together as he turned heel and was chased out of the maze.

Lucien peeked into the Creature Feature classroom with small delight as he seen the maze was still sitting there. He didn't see any other students and thought now would be his chance to finally get to the end of the maze and see just what was in there. He had gotten close before... but just before he got tot he treasure he was chased out by a rather fearsome creature feature indeed. He floated over to the beginning of the maze and headed in with high hopes.

Lucien continued walking through the maze, occasionally bumping into the walls and corners as they ended abruptly. He backtracked several times before he stumbled on an imp in the road. It seemed to be calling out to him. Did it want to play? Lucien picked the imp up and swung it around a few times until it stopped whining. It smiled and then put the imp back down before continuing through the maze.

"Please don't tell me the boulder rolled after me and is now laughing so bad there is whistling coming from it," he whispered to himself as he slowly turned around to face the bou-- "HORSE?!" Not any horse, an angry horse that reared its angry head at Lucien and chased him back through the maze, past the still laughing boulder which seemed to laugh even more when it seen Lucien fleeing with the ghost horse behind him.

Still in a good mood and humming along, Lucien found himself laughing at the stone boulder that talked! Oh my! Not only did it talk, but it had a sense of humour... or seemed to! It wanted Lucien to tell it a riddle of some sort. How funny, Lucien with a riddle? Regardless, Lucien was determined to, and thought deeply on the matter.

Hm...

"Why did the stone boulder speak to the air spirit?"

Lucien couldn't help but laugh as the boulder tried to figure it out. Sadly, being just a stone boulder, it could not figure out why it had spoken to him in the first place and allowed Lucien to pass.

The humming was still going on, and Lucien did not hear the deep rumbling growl of something near him from the pathway. Deja vu, Lucien thought as he got to the stone boulder that just could magically speak. Whatever possessed this boulder to want to use its talent of speaking to ask people for stories and jokes was beyond the air spirit's grasp.

"Once upon a time there was a magical stone boulder stuck in the maze of a classroom that could speak and while it could speak it only wanted to ask about stories and jokes."

The boulder moved. It loved stories about itself!

Ah ha! The air elemental spirit had gotten to an open area in the maze, a good sign that he was at the center. He found himself looking around and soon his eyes settled down on a basket with some interesting balls in it. Lucien could feel all the holiday cheer, hear all the songs, and see all the dancing as he walked into the room that he had stepped into previously to collect school supplies. He already had school supplies, but all the noise had aroused his attention and he was just so curious! His curiosity continued to grow and peek as he noticed there were interesting new supplies. Recalling his last supplies, he knew he needed more! They made such good class buddies!

He couldn't help but giggle at Mr. Blobby. Lucien was pleased to do it too as he thought about what he had to do: sing and get supplies? It seemed like a win win! Of course, then he had to think hard and deep, trying to remember anything, something he could sing. What was it? Lucien let out a tune:

On the first day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
A siren in a tall tree.

Wait. Why did Lucien sing that?! Lucien shook his head, trying to continue the song.

On the second day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Two fangoras.

On the third day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Three rare florence.

On the forth day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Four siren songs.

Lucien made a strange expression, but continued to sing.

On the fifth day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Five flaming shriegle.

On the sixth day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Six skitters biting.

On the seventh day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Seven pathlings glowing.

On the eighth day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Eight futakuchi-onna.

On the ninth day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Nine ghosts a-dancing.

On the tenth day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Ten zombies leaping.

On the eleventh day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Eleven darkling danse.

On the twelfth day of XMAS my true love gave to me,
Twelve doctors plaguing.

Erm... was that right? Lucien wasn't sure but he looked at Mr. Blobby hoping he enjoyed his little tune. Lucien sure enjoyed singing it, minus the confusing part at the beginning of the song. Why would he ever sing about a siren?

Lucien had been excited ever since he had sang to Mr. Blobby the other day. So excited that he had basically pranced into the room, humming a carol tune so that he could try and remember it long enough to sing. He squeezed past other students who had been singing previously so that he too could sing to Mr. Blobby! There was something horribly additive about singing these festive songs to this festive blob.

He began to to hum louder until his hum changed into a song:

Hellma got run over by a pathling,
Walking back from her class XMAS eve.
You can say there's no such thing as karma,
But as for all us first years, we believe.

She'd been giving too much homework,
And we were glad to see her go.
But she'd left her shadow,
So she stumbled out the school into the path.

When they found her XMAS morning,
At the cross in the path.
There were hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminating antler marks on her back.

Lucien couldn't help but giggle, just a little, before he stopped signing. Instead of giggling he should probably hope Helma didn't hear him.

Lucien had made it to the next day without having faced a nightmare of a punishment from Hellma for running her over with a pathling. Pleased with this, he had once again found himself looking for school supplies -- surprisingly, more focused on looking for the festive blob Mr. Blobby. He had nearly forgotten he originally wanted to get school supplies from all of this and was just taking the chance to sing everything he could remember!

"Greetings Mr. Blobby," he said.

Arel the Frost Demon,
Was a school errand boy.
With a short stature and some frosty wings,
And two antlers on his head.

Arel the Frost Demon
Is a reaper so they say.
He is made of frost
And seems so lost,
But he'll find us books someday.

Lucien stopped suddenly, unable to remember the rest of the song. Those were the best two lines! Who needed more?

Lucien was determined to make sure that today Mr. Blobby liked his song! He did not want to go back to his dorm empty handed knowing that he failed to put festive cheer into the festive blob of jelly-like substance. Although, on that matter, Lucien was really starting to wonder just what Mr. Blobby was and where all those school supplies came from. Alas, that would be for another day because today was all about the song and Lucien had just the song for today!

Torolf, the blue-glow pathling
had very bright blue eyes.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say they're wise.

All of the other pathlings
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Torolf
join in any pathling games.

Then one foggy XMAS Eve
Sandy Claws came to say:
"Torolf with your eyes so blue,
won't you guard my path so true?"

Then all the pathlings hated him
as they shouted out with gloom,
Torolf the blue-eyed pathling,
you'll go down in misery!

Lucien was like an addict at this point, going back to sing to Mr. Blobby again each day to get his fix of holiday cheer. He wasn't sure what to sing today. He was determined to get that pair of scissors that he was sure Mr. Blobby had somewhere in his festive gelatin body. That's when Lucien sang the unthinkable...

I want a pink elephant for XMAS
Only a pink elephant will do
Don't want a doll, no doinky little knife
I want a pink elephant to play with and enjoy.

I want a pink elephant for XMAS
I don't think Sandy Claws will mind, do you?
He won't have to use a dirty chimney
Just bring him over and put him in the sky,
that's the easy thing to do.

I can see me now on XMAS morning,
creeping over the clouds
Oh what joy and what surprise
When I open up my eyes
To see a mafia elephant floating there.

I want a pink elephant for XMAS
Only a pink elephant will do
No tygers, no scareons
I only like pink elephants
And pink elephants like me too!

SPECTATOR POST

Lucien hadn't originally planned to go to the School Play, having run off the stage during auditions and all, but now he was sitting there and very much watching as he noticed some of the strangest things. Okay, maybe not strange by Lucien's manner, but still strange. The only redeeming feature was that he seen his little friend Amrita. He wasn't quite sure what her role was but it seemed quite interesting which then seemed to followed by the Freakuent Flyers member, Maritess? He wasn't quite sure on that though.

He kind of hmmed to himself for a moment, trying to keep his focus on the play but eventually his attention kept drawing elsewhere. He was looking at different students who sat in the audience. They weren't very interesting today, not at all. Lucien couldn't help but actually want to look back and watch the play just in time to see the role he had gone for, Zero, come on stage in what seemed to be a rushed manner. Tilting his head, the air spirit could have sworn he seen a wisp of a black dog's tail under that sheet.

"Hm..." was all he said again as he hovered off the seat just a little in anxiety.
