The Halloween series isn't as scary, Jeepers Creepers isn't that bad. I cannot at all sit through a Jason movie! Too gruesome for me the way he kills. It is a good movie too, not too scary either. And the Crazyes isn't that bad either expect for one scene....

x Real Life Scary Stories - The Red Earring (Not a film, but awesome~!
x There (Extremes)
x Noroi: The Curse.

You should also check out the Japanese Horror Anthology/Tales of Terror etc etc.
They have loads of shorts (10-30 minute films) and are really good~!

Only watch these films if you're old enough, too.

[Prelude to Murder]

I would really recommend something with Vincent Price in it. My personal favourites are The Tingler and The Last Man on Earth (I Am Legend is the remake of the remake) Or you could go with a Stephen King one, they don't do the books justice but some are good, like IT and 1408. I personally love pretty scary movies like Insidious which is fantastic. Though one of my all time favourite movies is Silent Hill wich I resommend to anyone who wants a movie recommendation.

I agree about Silent Hill! Not only is it really the only good video game movie, it is one of THE scariest films ever!
