I've just started to become interested in photography, and I was wondering if anyone had some tips/pointers for a beginner.

The picture of your laptop is by far my favorite!!
But, as for tips...
1) Be sure to use LOOOOTS of angles!! Crouch on the ground so it looks like you're looking up at it. Makes it look bigger. That's what I'd have used for the clock. Look from corners, too, as if you're peeking in through a crack in the door or something. Make sure both sides of the 'peeky hole' get in the sides of the picture so your audience is sure of what you're doing. Getting really close to objects is also a good habit!! biggrin
2) Get lots and lots of light and position it until you have the perfect ratio of light and shadow to make the object look like you want it to-cute, happy. evil, dark, ect.

Happy um, picture-taking!!! biggrin -Thousand Stars

Well, it's been a few months now, and I think I've gotten better than from when I posted this, but yeah...I think I still consider myself at beginner level.
