Elephant ears

Does anyone have a good recipe for elephant ears? they're my favorite, my mom used to make them when I was little but now she forgot how and it's been a long time since I had one. I've looked on the internet but I can't find any good ones.

It's kinda like bread, it's fried and you put sugar on it. They call it an elephant ear because you make it big and it's flat. It's really good

It sounds like fried dough to me. Just a simple dough would do, and a mild oil to fry them in.
