But, yeah, when you start building off of tags, it gets complicated.

I think it'd be hard to split it up into genres because some people are pretty nitpicky about that sort of thing, but I think some sort of list would be amazing.

I am working on it at the moment, don't worry!

So, at the moment, the thread layout is looking like there will be one genre on each page.
So page 1 is pop, page 2 is rock, page 3 is rap, page 4 is metal (this is what i'm up to now), page 5 will be classical, page 6 will be techno.

Now, would anyone be upset if i put country and jazz in smaller categories? D:

So instead of one post being artists A-B, one post would be artists A - D.

It's more that: a) This is taking a while. xD;
b) I am including them, so i'm not saying they aren't important, but i don't think they're as popular as the other genres, i don't think there will be a huge list of artists.

-edits- Also, i'm considering putting Rock/Metal as the same category, as i don't want there to be complications in regard to which band fits into what. So i was thinking i could always put in brackets next to the artist if they are an extreme of the genre (e.g. Screamo).
