An old friend of mine thinks she's a lesbian

First off I have no honest to god idea where this goes, so I put it here.

Anyway, onto the topic at hand. When we were close, she said she was in love, and when I mean in love, I mean in love, with black men. Now a few years later, she has a girlfriend, and claims to be a lesbian.

Now she's the type of person do do things for attention, and lie excessively. And I don't know what to do. If I confront her she'll just blow me off, or make some elaborate annoying story. I don't what her girlfriend, who is a very sweet and funny person to be hurt if she [my old friend] decides 'Oh, well I'm going back to black men, sorry hun' and turn "straight" again.

And I'm also worried that if I confront her about it, she'll be like 'well I just decided to be gay, since being gay's a choice' I will blow up in her face, and I don't want to blow up in her face, since I'm non-confrontational.
