For the past month or so, I've noticed how amazing it feels to be hungry. And not just midnight snack of Moose Tracks hungry, like I'm gonna die of starvation hungry. I avoid food in the morning or at school, so I only ever eat dinner. And even then, I mainly just push the food around my plate and make conversation to distract from the fact I've barely eaten. I go to bed hungry and wake up starving. This hasn't interfered with my life, though. My weight's stayed healthy, I don't get headaches or irritability. It's just the feeling of my stomach contracting and making those gurgling noises that makes me feel good. I almost feel proud of myself the longer I can go without food. What's weird is that I have a perfectly fine body image. I'm chubby, but I've got curves. I have a great butt and great boobs. I don't want to lose weight and I'm not disgusted when I look in the mirror. Hell, if anything I'm turned on. So, I ask: does this sound like an eating disorder to you girls?

Um. I really don't know if this is an eating disorder but it can turn into one... I mean, my mom was like this... then she went anorexic. She didn't want to, but, like you, she loved how it felt to be hungry. So... um... I must say this isn't a healthy liking you have... (no offense, of course >.<). I mean, I wish I could look in a mirror and not feel like shooting my reflection =P However... yeah, It isn't classified as an eating disorder (I think), but I would eat some more before it turns into one.

Well, it doesn't sound like an eating disorder BUT you need to start eating more, you need to eat food to survive. If you are throwing the food up, then you are sufiring from Bulemia, if you have a bad body image of yourself and have minized food to loose weight... you might possibly have anorexia. Just remeber EAT 3 meals a day, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!

Unhealthy eating habit are bad. It does sound like a disorder in the making. I would suggest that rather than eating one meal in the evening, try just packing little snacks for school (like raisins or a granola bar) and snacking on them periodically throughout the day. You wont feel like you're starving and you won't be overeating either. I would SERIOUSLY suggest you talk to a pharmacist about taking multivitamins though so you aren't malnourished.
