My great-grandmother Alice just died.
She was in her 90s.
Her husband died in his 70s, I think.
At least she's finally with him.

And she's not in pain anymore.
She doesn't have to be in an old folk's home anymore.
She can be with him now.

I keep crying. I miss her so much.
She was great.

Oh, goodness...

I am so , so sorry. Not for her, because like you said she's no longer in pain, but for you. That must suck.

I know my sympathy probably doesn't mean much but I'm hurting for you
Anytime you need to talk, we're all here.

Thank you.
I want to be selfish and wish she was here, but I know it's wrong.
But it's hard to not be selfish.

I understand completely. If my grandma was in pain and then she died, I'd want her back.

People are just naturally like that.

Just console yourself with the fact that she's at peace now <3

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do.
Her funeral's on Saturday, so I don't even know what to do.
I've been to a funeral once but I don't remember anything about it.

I'm going to try to crochet her some flowers because she loved both crochet, and flowers. She taught me how to crochet and she also taught me a little about gardening, so I thought it would be fitting.

Buuut... does anybody know of any simple flower patterns?
I'm not finding anything that's actually really... simple, and making up my own isn't working out to well, at least yet.
But I have 'till Saturday so.
