 Can we all just agree that Nixies are the perfect breed? I'm not really sure why. Is it the side fins? Is it the compact size? Is it the imagery of small, jeweled fish they evoke? Does it matter? The fact is that they are pretty much the most adorable thing ever. For that reason I have decided to convert most of my quests into Nixies. I say most because Roy Mustang as a Nixie is too ironic for me to bare. Body: His legs start out as white, and then fade into a silvery / frosty blue with silver “branches” crossing the blue and white. At the shoulders and frost blue turns to navy with white speckles on his back.
Face: Navy blue with a white blaze on his nose. He should have a chapped look to his cheeks, like he’d been out in the cold all day.
