my elephant dreams I just ask them up front if they like me or not, and (most of the time) they say yes, to which I respond with, "To be honest with you, I don't recommend that you develop feelings for me unless you have a v****a, breasts and a cute face." Then they just stand there like, " surprised " ...yup. ownage xD but leave the cute face out it sounds a lil offensive

I usually get this: "So, when are we gonna hook up?"
"Sorry, I'm a lesbian."
"Oh s**t, for real? You lookin' for a third?"
All in all, it all depends on the guy. Just tell him "I'm a lesbian". If he doesn't like it, tough titty. xd

I think you should go on at least one date with the guy. Nice guys are rare. Plus you never know. Two friends I had who were so sure they were lesbians got married a few years later and they're very happy with their choices and their man. So you never know. He might be fine with you just trying to figure things out. Just let him know if he really wants to continue dating. wink

I've never had that situation before Cuz I've never been told that someone likes me at all... crying But I would say maybe, "Sorry, I'm different." (might give 'em a hint) Or just say it plain "Sorry, I'm gay/lesbian."

What if the guy already knew you're lesbian and he still decides to pledge his undying love for you, but you don't want that and you feel guilty? This is the case with two of my internet friends, and I'm close enough I want to stay friends but nothing more. I feel kinda tied up by it....'cause if I don't chat with them often enough they'll be all over me going "I missed you, dear" and "I love you so much!" It grates on my nerves just a little bit--and both of them know that I can never return their feelings. crying
