Epic Doodle Katnip kitty Epic Doodle Katnip kitty I like being on the pill, granted the extra protection is a bonus. wink I like that it helps control my period, because it used to be really heavy and now it's more manageable. Thanks lol I'm kind of nervous about the doctors appointment rather than being on it. >My mother has yet to do so, even tho she was suppose to in May< Ah, are you worried about the OB/GYN visit? Pretty much, just cause idk what to expect And I know my sister has had horrid luck with that. Well honestly it's going to be awkward no matter what. To have someone besides your boyfriend see that. But thankfully i had the doctor walk me through everything step by step so it wasn't such a shock not knowing what to expect, and mine was no longer than like 15 minutes.

Epic Doodle That actually helped a lot. I've never really been explained to how it works. And my mom only is doing this because she doesn't trust me and my boyfriend.. In my opinion, all teen girls need to be put on the pill. If I see another new season of teen mom, I'm going to flip the ******** out. Your mom is just being smart and thinking about your future.

My sister's advice (she's 25, might I add. big age diff) was to wear funky socks so there was something for them to talk about rather then them try to make random conversation lol. Tanadia In my opinion, all teen girls need to be put on the pill. If I see another new season of teen mom, I'm going to flip the ******** out. Your mom is just being smart and thinking about your future. Agreed. I'd like to be on the pill rather than not.
I know she is. It just kind of gets annoying hearing I'm going to be pregnant by the time I'm sixteen as if she has it planned out for me even though I'm sixteen in less than a week.

Yeah, the pill is pretty much what everyone here said. My BC give me pills for the 4th week, but I don't think they're actually hormones, it's just to keep track during that week. Also, I've had the lovely side effects of (over time) my period lessening from a full week to only four or five days, and controlled acne, which is the reason I'm on the pill anyway.
Unfortunately, I have no advice for the OBGYN. I'm almost 19 and haven't been to see one, since I'm not yet sexually active and my doctor told me it's not too important right now. Are you going to go to a male or female doctor?

Granted, now I really want to be because I have become sexually active..

I can't really help much with the BC thing, because i am not on it. ninja Honestly my mum would flip if i asked for the pills, lol.
But since you have become sexually active you need to speak up and get your mum to get you the pills. It may feel awkward and your mum might get upset, but would you rather be uncomfortable and ask for the pills or be uncomfortable telling your mum that you're pregnant?
