The combat looks pretty fun, though the running animations for humanoid characters look a little wonky.

I heard it's a voice-acted WoW clone. I'm not keeping up with it, but it looks interesting. I don't care for Star Wars, but smuggler looks neat.

Daniclone_23 I heard it's a voice-acted WoW clone. Pretty much, but at least it looks like a well-made clone for people who never got into the Warcraft universe.

As pumped as I am for this game, I am not waiting in a two hour line at PAX to play twenty minutes of it.

I have to say, though, I lost quite a bit of hype for the game when it was first stated that the Jedi were a starting class. I'd heard that Bioware wanted to implement a different system, but after pressuring from EA folded and made it as it is now.
It's easier to explain when we say that all the Force-adepts running around are weaklings compared to the average Jedi or Sith, but it's still going to be disappointing when just about everyone is a Force user. Including me.
Though the Bounty Hunter's armor looks badass.

It's during the Old Republic era, though. There were more force users.

There were, but there are going to be several million force users. I'm more than a bit sure that just as in Galaxies, the number of Jedi or Sith that are running around are going to be fairly dominant compared to the other classes.

On a personal level most of the people I know are actually far more excited for the non-Force classes. We're all making one Force user each, just because it's Star Wars.

Yes but in Galaxies that didn't make sense for the Star Wars universe, in this it does due to the timeline.

I'm debating more between Trooper and Smuggler than anything else.
