When The Rose Petals Fall

Warm as a warm spring morning
Golden in the sun
The blooming of a black rose rising
Warm in the sun
A gusty wind is in the air
Cloudss fill the skies
Down floats the most beautiful thing
A snowflake in July
Cold is winter's mistress
Her icy fingertips reaching
Plucks the heart of the spring morning
A black rose's finest hour
Shattered in the wind
Where are the tears of the winter queen
As petal follow petal
Falling down a sea of sorrow
An ocean of melancholy
A tribute to a martyr long lost
Candles in a sea of infamy
Lost is the spring
