A few months ago the feral cat community disappeared from my neighborhood, all in the same week. All but one kitten. Then another kitten was run over by a car, a possum showed up, and to make a long story short, we temporarily(?) adopted the kitten.

Now, Gracie does not like the kitten. In fact, she hunts it like a rat. It's gotten so bad, this week she almost clawed the kitten's eye out. We had to take the kitten to the vet, give her salve every four hours, the whole nine yards. And Gracie STILL tries to hunt her!

Today one of Gracie's eyes is closed and leaking goo all over the place. Allergies? Perhaps. But it's one hell of a coincidence, don't you think? ninja

Gracie should be careful. One day the kitten might grow up and cuddle her to death.

I've been volunteering at a shelter, and it's made me so much more of a cat person (even though I still love my puppy more). I have probably too many pictures of the cats on my phone, and I would have adopted two of them by now if I had the money/wasn't moving back to my university in like 2 weeks and my mom wasn't allergic.
