I am a graduate chemistry student (well, I just started in June) and am starting the quest for my PhD, which I will say is pretty sweet. I don't get paid much, but enough to live off of and finally pay off my bar tabs on my credit card from undergrad haha. Anywaysss....

I had my first presentation today and it went okay! I am so relieved. And I think my boss really likes me! I am so nervous though because I have to take 5 chemistry placement tests starting Friday, then a few on Monday and Tuesday, and I'm pretty sure I'll fail them all and then my boss will hate me ( wahmbulance ). I've been studying quite a bit for the ones on Friday but I am prone to test anxiety and I get all queasy and tend to have small panic attacks (why I usually sit in the back during exams so I don't distract other people).

Oh, and sorry...how was work or school today for everyone? I know that some of the public high schools started up today where I live! Seems so early...I think we usually went back at least on the 15th or so...but I live down south so they start earlier I think so they can start football practices up legally or something (I'm really from up north, just go here for grad school).
