Sitting with Daitomi at the shop, Samuru looked through the sushi menu "I don't eat ramen." he replied, still thinking he was being polite. Ordering an eel dragon roll and some wasabi rolls, he looked at Daitomi as she asked why he'd chosen Kumo. He tilted his head at her, his expression clearly amused slightly "Because you are not allies of Konoha. I know Konoha and Kumo have stressed relations though I don't know the reasons." he sipped his tea, taking some time to carefully say the next part "I knew that, whatever the issues, my coming here would be accepted more easily then any other village. Kumo would welcome any information I can give them, as the Raikage did, and I could ask for safety." he set his tea down, looking at her. Despite his anger, the despair and loss, his eyes were clear and sharp. He was not a blank minded fool running away from whatever it was that he'd left. Samuru had planned this....had planned it for a long time.

"For you there are varieties of sushi." Dai sat the menu down and ordered pork and veggie pot stickers. About the only thing her stomach would settle for. She linked her fingers together and lend on the table, resting her lips against her index fingers as Samuru explained. He knew Kumo and Konoha weren't allies. Not knowing the reasons. He took a sip of tea taking time to carefully explain. Knowing that, he acceptance into Kumo would be easier then any other village. Kumo would welcome any information he could give them. Dai nodded. "Our reasons run deep into why we're not allies. You made the right choice of coming here." She told him before lowering her hands and smiling at him. "An enemy of Konoha is an ally to Kumo." She leaned back in her chair. "You spoke of siblings. What are they like?" She asked.

"The best part is, you don’t think I’m a threat."

As their food arrived, Samuru didn't ask about the differences between Kumo and Konoha. It truly didn't matter to him at the moment and he started eating, taking an eel roll in a big bite "Hm?" he looked up as she asked about his siblings and his face turned dark. He ate almost half the roll before he spoke "I'm the oldest of triplets or twin boys and a girl, if you like. We're all the same age with about a minute separating us but I'm the tallest. My younger brother is the soon to be clan head of their bloodline. My younger sister is...my younger sister. Both of them hold to the same oath that I do." he took another sushi roll and ate it slowly, debating what else to say. He could tell her about his brother's obsession, his manic desire for the end of an entire village and the plans to destroy Konoha. He could say his sister was trained in explosives and had planted them all over Konoha to kill as many people as possible..."They're both very strong willed." was all he said "Can I have some soy sauce?" Samuru asked the waitress as she passed and she nodded, walking off "Do you have family?"

Dai thanked the waitress as she placed their orders in front of them. She grabbed the bottle of orange sauce and poured it into a little dish in front of her before setting it down. Taking up her chopsticks and picking up a pot sticker, Dai would listen to Samuru speak of her siblings. Triplets, two boys and a girl. All the same age but a minute apart, Samuru was the tallest. The middle sibling, is to be the next clan leader of their bloodline. His younger sister had not much to her title. It caused Dai to raise an eyebrow to his statement of his sister. All three of them held the same oath that he does. She took a bit and chew slowly as Samuru downed another sushi roll. She swallowed her food, "You three sound like a strong handful." Dai laughed lightly. She took another bite and studied the consentration written on Samuru's face. Wasn't hard to see why he wanted to betray Konoha. "Your siblings sound strong willed." She commented before he asked for the soy sauce to the waitress. To be so young to betray everything you grew up with. To leave behind people dear to you at such an age. Samuru is alone for now it seems. Dai's eyes dropped to her plate before going for another pot sticker. She hesitated when asked if she had family. "Of sorts." She replied before looking up at him, her emerald eyes glistened in the light. "I have two brothers. One is my adopted brother and one is my real brother." She gave Samuru a moment before continuing. "I'm originally Kiri born. I was abandoned at a young age. I came to Kumo much like you did, in a kind of way. I was young and had no information to give. Went I was about to be adopted, my adoptive parents, were killed on a mission. My adoptive brother went to Konoha to live with family. I stayed at the orphanage until I was old enough to enroll at the academy. Shiro and I would reunite shortly after I graduated. As for my real brother, we're twins. Daisuke is his name. He's older than me by a few minutes. So I understand the differences of your siblings." Dai took a drink of her water before continuing. "Daisuke found me a little more than a year ago. I haven't seen much of him around since." Dai gave a small shrug. "Brothers." She rolled her eyes before laughing a little. "I'm pretty much on my own a great magority of the time. I prefer it that way. Less likely to get hurt when people leave."

Working through the wasabi rolls now, Samuru didn't comment on her family. It sounded complicated "We tend to keep to ourselves. Or did." he dipped a roll in the soy sauce and ate it, his expression off. He didn't sound like he enjoyed talking about them or why they're relationship might have changed. In fact, he changed the subject abruptly "What am I not allowed to do while I'm here?" he asked.

Dai tilted her head to the side when he commented about keeping to themselves or did. "What is broken, can be repaired again. Never doubt the sibling bound, Samuru." She gave him a smile. "I'm sure that whatever happened between you and your siblings will be repaired. Give time to your brother and sister to gain that realization too." Dai straightened her head. "Things take time to repair. Especially, once strong bonds." For once, Dai sounds really wise. It even surprised her. But it brought the thought of Sypher and their once relationship. A rocky one. But Dai owed him thanks for what he did teacher her. She gave a mental sigh, ...I'm over due for a visit. I wonder if he'll see me... She took another bit of her pot sticker before the subject quickly changed. It was apparent that it pained him to talk about his family, the question was what he wasn't allowed to do. She took up her napkin and wiped her mouth. "Well. You're not allowed to go to Hunter's den," Which meant Dai had to find another place for them to sleep, seeing how she now lived at the den. "Anbu headquarters, to leave the village walls without escort equal rank or higher, and above all else, leave my side." Dai sat her napkin down and looked at him. "I realize you won't run, But know this, I'm a Hunter of Kumo, Samuru. I've been trained by the best. I know my job to the fullest. There will be no escape once you turn tail." Her voice was even and steady as she explained to him. "But either than that, enjoy your time in Kumo." She bowed her head to him. "We'll be spending quite some time together, so, please take care of me as I will do for you." Dai smiled at him.

His eyes narrowed as Daitomi seemed to feel she had a right to tell him what to do. Leaning forward, Samuru met her eyes "I am NOT one of your shinobi." his voice was like liquid fire, his eyes filled with a volatile rage. He had left Konoha to get away from the controlling insanity of a village, not to return to one "I am not a prisoner and I am not bound by YOUR laws. When I decide to leave, I will. And if you come after me, I will kill you." there was nothing but contempt in his voice "The Raikage has given me sanctuary and I will honor her laws and the restrictions placed on me. But if you threaten me again, we will have issues." he dropped his chopsticks on his plate and pushed back, standing to put his hands on the table. He wasn't as strong as her in terms of chakra but as he leaned forward, Samuru showed exactly what he was. He was feral, raw hatred and energy that he could direct and use at will without fear "And you will have to chain me to your side if you expect me to just tag along like a dog." he lifted off the table and walked away, dropping his money on the counter to pay for their meal. Walking outside, he didn't go far, stopping just to the left of the door. Samuru was making a point, not truly angry. As far as he was concerned, Daitomi was an overdeveloped, blue haired bimbo with a rank Just like Konoha. Villages are poison. he thought, waiting.

Dai didn't move as Samuru made things clear. Her expression was steady as his voice and eyes filled with rage. Making it clear that he wasn't a prisoner and not bound by their laws. When he decides to leave, he will. And if she came after him, he'd kill her. To bad for you. Death doesn't scare me like it use too. "These are her laws." Dai pointed out as Samuru stated he'd honor Kinpaku's laws and the restrictions placed on him. She eyes watched him not showing an once of fear. Samuru continued, stating to her that she'd have to chain him to her side if she expected him to just tag along like a dog. Samuru left it at that before walking away. Dai stood after a moment, headed to the counter dropping some money and soon would join Samuru.

"I know what it's like to feel caged. The laws are set, Samuru. I should have been more clear." She would speak coming to his side. "Yes, you have sanctuary here. But you also need to tell, Kinpaku, when you chose to leave." She stated. "Like it or not, you're stuck with me for your time here." Dai crossed her arms under her chest and looked at him. "And in that time, I highly suggest, you show a little respect to the woman who is responsible in saving your life." Her voice was steady to him. "Unlike Anbu, I am not allowed to kill unless ordered to. If someone hadn't come for me, you wouldn't be standing here." Dai lifted her head a little. "Now...is there anywhere you'd like to go?"

Samuru looked up as Daitomi ccame over to speak to him, his eyes narrowing "No, they are the laws of YOUR village and thus apply to YOU. The laws she placed on me are that you accompany me everywhere and that I give her any information I can." he corrected. He was not scared of Daitomi. And she was a fool to think he was, considering his life and what he'd seen "I am stuck with you, you're right about that at least." if no one had come for him, yes, likely he would have died. But he'd made it through a war, several villages, along the travel roads and to the gates. If no one had arrived, he'd have moved on. Simple as that "...a place to sleep." Samuru glanced back out to the crowds, his expression dropping back into the familiar emptiness.

Dai raised an eye brow at him. "You asked what you couldn't do. I simply told you. You are a visitor in Kumo and as such there are places you can't go to and things you can't do." She leveled her look with him. "The laws placed upon me are placed upon you for the time. I am only following orders." It was clear he wasn't scared of her. She wasn't trying to be scary in the first place. Just letting things be known. She saw too much of Shiro in Samuru before batting the thoughts away. Dai gave him a smile we he voiced that he was stuck with her. Not a smile of victory but happy that he realized it. "Alright. Follow me." It was going to be interesting. Though she lived at the den, Dai kept her old apartment. It would do for the time he was here.

Samuru said nothing, realizing it was pointless to argue with this woman. She believed in a fictional set of moral values that had no place in his mind and he wouldn't be held by them. As she led the way, a smile on her face, he followed after her with silent steps.
