Yesterday while playing volleyball all of a sudden my left hand started tingling then it went up to my elbow until I couldn't feel anything from the elbow down. Then it skipped my upper arm and shoulder and went straight to the left side of my face, I couldn't feel my tongue or any of my teeth or cheek.

It lasted about 15 minutes.

And it was all only on my left side.

I didn't eat something new that I could be allergic too or anything...

Any ideas of what it is? Should I be worried and see a doctor??

If it happens again, yes.
Numbness like that has something to do with your central nervous system. It could be very serious. But strange things happen all the time. I would wait for it to be a reoccurance to go to the doctor.

I would suggest going to a doctor. Numbness of any kind is related to the nervous system, and prolonged periods numbness like that, especially on the left side of your body can be very dangerous. It could be something simple and non-dangerous, but it could also be a sign of heart attack or stroke. Just watch for any other signs of numbness in the area and if it happens again go to your doctor asap. Heart attacks and strokes can happen to people of all ages and shouldn't be eliminated as a cause just because you are young. Just try to keep yourself safe and in the reach of a phone or other means of communication for the next few days just to be safe. =)
