ugh. I hate when that happens! I've lost like 500K for accidentally not putting enough zero's or forgetting to put the total amount you want when you sell more then one item together. not how much each costs alone.
Booty grab and puzzles is what I recommend. Although you won't ever get enough money fast enough -_-

I just sold a lady lunar (worth 200k) for 200g. -.-" Cant believe how much I screwed up by missing a few zeros.
Anyways, Im really into playing the marketplace, but its not as fun and can get old. So I switch back and forth between that, Booty Grab, and posting on forums/guilds.

One way is Booty Grab. Then there's Daily Chance, Marketplace, posting in Forums, moving around Gaia. Then there's also the Marketplace. ^^
