I'm thinking about 'putting down' my betta. He took a turn for the worse. He won't even get off the bottom of the tank now, and his color has faded a lot.
Should I put him down? >< I mean, I don't have a lot of hope for survival. He is old. He's reached the life expectancy of most well cared for bettas.

I don't think any of us can really say what the best thing is. I remember almost doing it once with Sushi and he came back. So it's impossible for me to tell you what to do.

Hugs, I'm sorry, at least he lived a full life. And now he won't have to suffer a slow death.
