Grr I'm dying of it. My breeder's co-bred litter was whelped last week and I got some pics of them and I'm just dying here. I'm just in love with the dam! She's a gorgeous girlie.... Momma seems happy and the babies are just little jelly beans. Sadly I didn't get to go to the ASCA show this weekend. but alls well as if I had I'd probably stolen one of the pups and ran...
Now her actual litter out of one of her bitches is due later this month. This was the litter I was supposed to get my baby from, but it's not going to work out. The sire is awesome and I love duesey and her litter mate blade so hopefully the litter will turn out some awesome little duesy spawn who will do well in multiple venues. And even though I won't be getting one I still get to keep up with some of them at ASCA shows...
But yeah everywhere I look I'm seeing puppies and that's really just not helping my case at all. First people on the boxer forums are getting new additions, then another lady who shows aussie just whelped a litter, and some people down he street just got a fluffy puppy, and I'm in love with my friends spazzy kelpie pup. Geez why me? Anybody else suffering from a mild case of puppy fever?

You could always foster a puppy for some temporary relief until you get your adorable Aussie =D

Ailinea You could always foster a puppy for some temporary relief until you get your adorable Aussie =D See I would foster but I can't. The whole reason I'm not getting my Aussie is because I have to work through my boxers fear aggression issues with other dogs first that plus can't foster for a rescue if you have an intact animal in the house

I wouldn't call it PUPPY fever, but I do want a second dog. However my pets are horridly expensive lately. With Rascal pushing 14yrs soon I know it'll only get worse, and Cowboy will be SEVEN :'( and he already started arthritis. At least working in a clinic will be saving me a ton.
But look what just popped up in a rescue nearby, probably the perfect dog for me, an Aussie/Husky (they say aussie/husky/lab but I'm convinced aussie/husky/GSD) I mean I've always wanted a husky or malamute, duck toller and aussie, probably the 3 most wanted breeds for me. I mean there's a bunch more I adore, but those three would fit best for me and my lifestyle (Pit would be difficult as I have family in Ontario and travel there)

Look at those eeyyyeee! he brother's and sisters look more Aussie than her but they all have those piercing blue eyes. Man, if I wasn't broke and living with my parents I would so get that dog
I have this desire to have a well socialized dog that I can train to pull the neighborhood or my nieces and nephews on a sled. Cowboy couldn't handle my nephews they're too big, maybe one at a time. But he doesn't get along with all dogs anymore so bringing him with us at xmas is just too complicated. I might travel to work by dog power soon enough. I'm working up his endurance. He can handle 1km pretty well so far. I think work is about 6-8km

sweatdrop I have been getting kitten fever, and IDK why, cause I don't REALLY want a kitten, I think I just miss my booger, I had a fluffy kitty for 12 years, then all the sudden she was gone, I miss it sad actually I am REALLY in love with her, I would adopt her in a second if I could!

since ive only had stowrm since august and she still has all that puppy energy im good. though a few older german shepherds have crossed our minds, but stowrm is just too much of a handful right now.

Rotti fever. My brother got a rotti puppy and I am in love with it. I would love one, but can't have any more pets right now.
But thankfully, I am quite happy with my two dogs now. Not saying that you are not, I know what it is like to love your current dogs, but still wanting another one, nothing wrong with that, but I am quite content with my pet situation right now. Of course I wouldn't complain if my parents suddenly said, "hey lets go to the rspca and get another dog!" ( the rspca being the only way to get a dog aside from a byb in my area)

I really want a puppy.. badly. sad I live in an apartment though.. and probably will be for another 2 years at the very least. At least I have my two awesome cats though! I'd be pretty sad if I couldn't have any animals at the moment. I just miss the energy of having a dog in the house, it's so special. heart I love it so much. It will be very nice to be able to have a nice slobbery puppy around the house! n_n

I love rotties, I hope to some day rescue one. As well as a pitbull. I never really loved either breed until I worked with them at the kennel. So wiggly and loveable! =D
