So my tank of 10 is now down to 6 because my fish keep killing each other when my brother is too fuggin lazy to relay my messages. I often have to run out in the mornings so I ask my mom to feed the fish. No big deal, right? She's usually in the bathroom when I leave so I tell my 15 year old brother to ask my mom to feed the fish. He 'forgets' and I come home to one scaleless, stomachless, and stuck to the filter tetra ._. muddafuggas.

maybe it would be a good idea to get the food ready the night before, so all you have to do is toss it in and not have to worry about it, that is sad gonk

It is ready I just gotta run out right away or miss my driving classes. They get flakes and special pellets (can't do live atm) so I could do it myself if I wouldn't be yelled at by my ride for being late D:

Vanilla eXee Wake up a few minutes early 0.o I agree with this. Wake up earlier and feed them yourself so you don't have to worry about that.

My point was more of that the damn things keep killing eachother! I'm just trying to give you advice on preventing them from doing so. smile You can separate all of them from each other so they can't get to each other to kill each other, which would eliminate the problem entirely. If you're sure that it's because they're not being fed in the mornings being the reason that they're killing each other, just get up earlier so you can feed them yourself so that way you don't have to worry about if your brother relayed the message or not. What kinds of fish do you have (and what kinds have died)? Another possibility is that they are not compatible to live together, depending on what they are.

They're rummynose tetras, which is what makes it odd. Not only are they a schooling fish (they need to be together), they also tend to be pretty peaceful.

Unprovoked, they continually kill eachother. They killed at least 2 females and the other males, I'm down to a pair of males who don't like to be by eachother. The other fish in the task couldn't care less about any one but their buddies, the Cories are living peacefully and the Pleco gets along great with everyone. I'm afraid to get more. I'm half tempted to give her the rummies and get more cories and a betta, since those are my favorites anyways.
