Her method of teaching, wherein Thackery tried dishing similar blows back to her, worked well for the Cerberus. The muscle memory aided him in making the right moves, but he did have a little bit of difficulty connecting the reason for the motion to the motion itself.

He slowly moved his foot towards her calf, but was deep in thought, reasoning why it was a good idea to aim low. His expression showed that he wasn't quite all there, but his "kick" really confirmed it. The "attack" was barely a little toe tap. For whatever reason, it hadn't occurred to him to let the fight play out before trying to analyze it.

Good, good. It looked as though Thackery was learning which in turn pleased the Marrowstripe a good deal. She disliked anyone who didn't seem to want to put up a decent fight and, even though he was missing her, she considered the change in his form to be something of a success.

Still, him being successful and still missing her just wouldn't do and Savior decided that she needed to show him more. Another kick was delivered to his legs as she turned around, the heel of her foot moving into his kneecap.

The monster was going to teach him how to take down people, one way or another.

Despite knowing that it would leave him vulnerable, Thackery paused to rub at his knee. He was feeling even weaker now, and fighting back was...just so much effort.

As if to indicate what he would do if he were feeling up to it, he leaned forward, one hand still tending to his knee, and tapped her on the tendon just above the heel that had struck him. He wasn't sure what its real function was, but he knew it made him crumple when the bathroom door accidentally hit it.

No no no, tapping someone's heel did not do any damage, and Savior shook her head as a ragged sigh escaped from behind her mask. He was rubbing a wound and not fighting back, he was tapping at her legs instead of kicking or punching them like he should have. It made Savior sad to think that he wasn't even trying even though she was working so hard to show him, and so the Marrowstripe decided to share the fruit of her labors and movements. "Watch."

In a wondrous display of flexibility and balance Savior raised her leg high aove her head, balancing on one foot, and she brought it down strongly on the Cerberus's head. Oops.

There was a distinct thump that seemed to stab at his sensitive eardrums.

Thackery saw a flash, then pretty star things, then the floor. Even if he had intended to watch that, he obviously failed miserably at doing so.

With a groan, he let himself fall flat on the floor, shakily rolling over to look up at her. His eyes looked like they might have trouble focusing, and he eventually just closed his right eye and stared up at her with his left.

"Okay that. Was really impressive. But....can you help me...to my room?" He held a weak hand up towards Savior, panting softly. Even the slight stretching of his arm was kind of tiring. If he could fight like her, he thought, he would be set!

"Roum." That was a word that Savior vaguely understood, only because she'd heard Lark say it many, many times before. Whatever this 'roum' was Puppy needed her help to get there and Savior bent down, scooping the smaller boil into her arms. He was light, not as light as she had thought though, and she snuggled him closer to her chest as she held him like a princess. "Wei."

She didn't know where his whatever was and she really needed him to show her were to go. He had her emblem on him which would give him enough of her scent for memory purposes; that didn't help much though since he was in her arms. Still there was a chance that she could follow the very faint trail he would have left behind but that was a hard chance and she was still somewhat recovering.

Thackery barely had the energy to let out a partial laugh, partial giggle, but it was worth it. Here was Savior, being...well, a savior. He'd known that she was really great in battle, but had no idea how strong she was. Of course, he wasn't the most hefty of boils, so he didn't present a frighteningly large challenge or anything.

It wasn't the most cozy feeling, being curled up in her arms, but it was obvious that she was trying to make him as comfortable as possible. His tail tried to wag despite its position of being sandwiched between the two of them, only the very fluffy end of it showing any indication of his contentment.

"It's this way," he said, pointing in the general direction. "The um...demon dorms...if that helps. And...first, uh, floor." He had no idea if this was making any sense or not. None of the words coming out of his mouth were making any sense to him in his exhausted state, honestly. Pointing was a better idea.

His nice, snuggly bed seemed so appealing right now.
