╰★ Kameko watched for the right time for her execution of her jutsu. She didn't want to be too early, or worse, too late. Kameko watched as the cloud got closer and closer to Souji, her younger team mate. Quickly, before it made contact, Kameko spewed out a thick stream of lava, watching it mildly harden into rubber in the air. Kameko grabbed one end and quickly swung her new, still hot, rope. Her aiming wasn't exactly the best ever, so the rope that she'd swung had found its way on Souji's arm farthest from her. No matter. Kameko pulled with all her might in order to get her team mate away from the icy cloud.

In the end, Souji's attack was hardly even effective. He staggered backwards after the counter landed, the cold instantly seeping through his flesh. Before he could regain his balance to try to react, something very hot suddenly latched onto his arm. There was a rough tug, spinning Souji around, practically dislocating his shoulder, but still pulling him out of the way of the attack. Unable to keep his balance, he was effectively dragged through the snow, putting some needed distance between him and the opponent. Still on the ground, Souji quickly turned over and held a hand sign. As he did so, he focused his chakra to an area right next to the opponent, creating a compressed ball of air. Once the ball of air had been formed, Souji released his hand sign. The air around the opponent would explode and, if she didn't dodge quick enough, provide enough of a distraction for the Genin to attack back. Since the blast range was only about five cubic feet, Souji estimated that he and his teammate would be out of the way of the attack as well.
Sebastian barred his fangs at the demise of this lady. her charred and destroyed corpse would not allow for any real usage, but perhaps the body of the others would indeed become useful. focusing some chakra into his fist, Sebastian approached the other, staying a little bit away from the bodies under the ice incase his technique was TOO effective against the ice. Maybe in conjunction with the lava jutsu they had a chance to get the others free.
"Get ready to walk on water! HAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Slamming his fist into the ice, Sebastian would release a rush of chakra capable of destroying land and bedrock beneath peoples feet. He could only imagine what this could do to ice. All they needed was a little opening, and they could free them all.

The dual attacks on the ice loosened it for just long enough that the trapped could pull themselves out of the water and onto the ice. Two, clothed clearly in Anbu clothing, were shivering violently even as they dragged the third, and smaller body, from the water as well. Frigid and getting colder, they moved as quickly as they could away from the hole, dragging the smaller with them until they reached the edge. Collapsing in the snow, the Anbu tried to sit as close together as possible, trying to get their body heat (what little there was) up. The third, small and slender, female with long pink hair and one delicately curling horn, still and unmoving.
[_______The air exploding near her rocked Beka back and she flew off her feet to fall on the ground, her hands skidding back. As she landed, she saw her brother's body in the water and knew it was over "To nie je." she said quietly and signed before vanishing in a puff of water.

C H U U N I N ▌B L A D E D - P E R F O R M E R ⊰ "Whoa - easy, hotshot!" Inka growled at Sebastion, leaping back slightly so as not to fall into the breaking ice. Sheathing the kunai and tying up his long sleeves onto his shoulders, Inka reached out to help pull the Anbu and girl free of the water, only really able to use one arm due to cut in his right shoulder. Noticing the Anbu were strong enough to haul themselves and the girl up onto their feet, Inka raced ahead of them, red eyes scanned the surface of the frozen lake to check on the two Genin. Finding them safe the Chuunin continued on, leaping up one foliage-free tree close to where the Anbu will collapse to pluck some of its branches. Many stilll were too green to be of use, but a few twigs were dry enough to collect for use. Landing in the snow with one arm carrying the dry twigs, Inka made is way over to the drenched individuals. He knelt down in front of them and began scooping away the layer of snow to reveal the frozen earth so he could make small fire pit. However, before he could light the fire he noticed the pink-haired girl wasn't moving.
"s**t!" Inka swore before shrugging out of the arms of his rob and pulling off his black shirt. He winced and hissed as his shoulder moved, but he gritted his teeth and kept going. He picked up the girl carefully onto his lap and began wipping the water off from her bare skin. "Oi, I need you awake, got it?" He tried to wake her. Inka had heard of horror stories fron his fellow shinobi about what the cold water in these lands could do. Falling into water so cold that it killed you instantly, that only a few seconds were needed before it froze your insides into no-longer working. His shirt now drenched from collecting the water, Inka untied the front of his robe and pulled her close so she could be wrapped up in the thick, warm fabric, warming her with his own body heat. "God-damn..." he muttered. "Oi," He gently tapped her face. "Those guys pulled you up out of the water, the least you can do is damned-well say 'hi'!" He growled, red eyes carefully searching for any signs of life.
One of the Anbu looked up, still trembling in the cold, and tried to speak. Teeth chattering violently, the voice was still distinctly female "Sh-sh-she's d-d-dead, shinobi." her hands were clenched tightly to her throat. Her companion had managed to unclench himself and wrap his arms around her, keeping them both warm with the shared body heat, adding his own words "B-b-been de-dead for a-a-at least t-t-two days. T-t-t-tortured f-first." he wasn't able to do any more talking after that and both of them looked pleadingly to the open earth. The body Inka held was of a girl in her early teens, long pink hair cut haphazardly and curling horns above her ears. One horn was broken but the other was full and ridged like a ram's horn. Her skin was pale, lighter because of blood loss and death, and free of any truly damaging scars. A few that suggested she had been in a rough patch at one point but nothing serious. She did, however, have some open wounds that were clearly from recent violence. Her wrists had massive bruising and wear marks from chains or bindings, several fingers were bent back and deliberately broken, her nose had a similar look of having been broken. The worst were her feet which had been crushed so badly that they would never have healed correctly. If she'd lived, she would have never walked again. Her clothing suggested she might have been a shinobi with a light body suit and loose shorts and a shirt. But there was no headband nor any distinguishing mark of a village proper.

C H U U N I N ▌B L A D E D - P E R F O R M E R ⊰ Inka paused his attempts at waking the pink-haired girl, red eyes moving to inspect the Anbu as they talked. Reluctantly, he gazed back down to the girl, hands moving to inspect the girl properly. "s**t..." He hissed, as he began recognising the full extent of the damage. After a second of just glaring down, teeth bared at the dead teenager, he clicked his tongue and began moving once more, unwrapping the girl from him and laying her down carefully in the snow. He grabbed his soaked shirt to cover her chest, giving her dead body some dignity. "We'll find your home." He promised in a whisper. After clearing some of her hair from off her face, Inka turned to the two Anbu and the small gathering of twigs.
"We should warm you up and get some dry clothes for you to change into." He spoke, voice tight, red eyes hard but accepting. "Staying here too long, in a country we weren't invited to, may lead to political reprecussions." Inka leaned down towards the small gathering of twigs. Breathing in deep, he collected chakra into his chest before breathing out, blowing fire down onto the twigs - hot enough to start melting the surrounding snow almost immediately. The fire only last three seconds, but it was enough to satch in some of the twigs. "Warming up too fast is bad for the body, isn't it?" Inka questioned the cold air, not looking at anyone in particular. "'Shocks the system', or something. Whatever that means." His attention was caught as a line of blood ran down his arm. Red eyes traced the liquid back up to his shoulder and placed a hand over the wound once more, hoping the close the gap and slow down the bleeding.

• Description: By molding Chakra into ones lungs properly, they are able to exhale a short burst of heat and flame which basically explodes from the mouth. The fire itself actually only lasts for about a second. But its effect is that it illuminates dark places, if only for but a few seconds.
Sebastian immediately make his way for the anbu, explaining their current situation. He knew they had to get their body temps back up to regular. Sebastian pulled out some of the supplies he always carried, and took a quick syringe and filled it with a diluted mixture, then approached the anbu.
"A very diluted mix of Epinephrine and Caffine. the combination of these will increase heart rate as well as blood flow, which in turn will help you maintain your body heat. This may scare you or creep you out a little, bt if you want to live I will have to have you get inside of a body bag. It is insulated, and will act as a blanket to help your natural body heat return it to normal. But we must keep moving. Inka, if you have blankets, please give it to them. "
If they had accepted, Sebasitan would give them their needed body bag. Then all they would need was to carry them outside to the crossroads and by that time they should be strong enough to return home. The medical ninja then would observe the body Inka had placed on the ground, and spoke quickly. He would not care what his answer was, and would do it for the sake of the mission.
"The Dead have no dignity Inka, the Dead have nothing. I will seal the body away and take it back to the Village and perform a full autopsy on her, and figure out as best we can what had happened. But we have to get out of here before more ninja arrive. "

╰★ It had all happened so quickly. The next thing she knew, Inka was putting his shirt over a dead body. Kameko said nothing. It wasn't out of shock, no. She didn't speak simply because she didn't have a bit of sympathy for the dead. Especially for those who she never was familiar with. She'd have to agree with Sebastian on that particular topic. Sighing, Kameko turned to her younger teammate, walking over to him and touching his shoulder. If he could move it, then he'd be fine. Kameko glanced toward Inka and Sebastian, wondering what the older Shinobi would do now.

But he followed orders without hesitation, slipping off his back pack so he could retrieve the spare blankets. "Mhmm," Inka agreed. "Tend to the wounds we have and make an immediate leave. We may have attracted more attention than we realized."
The attack landed, but was still useless. It seemed that the enemy was defeated, for the most part, and the Genins' opponent had fled. The next series of events almost seemed to tumble down on top of each other. Souji deactivated his Kinmukugan, and could now see the actual bodies of the ANBU, one of whom was dead. While Inka and Sebastian spoke, Souji remained silent, waiting to hear orders to move out.
Yui eyed the body bag with extreme displeasure, her dark eyes closing with a resigned expression "Very well. Get us home." she said and Moto nodded as well. Allowing Sebastian to do what was necessary, they both followed his orders.

The Chuunin kept his hand tight on shoulder, the arm attached now limp at his side in an attempt to not aggravate the injury further. "Sebastion, Asano, could you two lead? Tanaki and I will make sure the Anbu are following you." Red eyes glanced to Sebastion, awaiting any comments if his plan was satisfactory. When all were ready, Inka began walking through the snow, keeping the Anbu ahead of him as they made their way away from the frozen lake.
