NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

It had been a bizarre coincidence that both Alexander and Yǐn Cáng had decided to take First Aid 101 on the same Friday afternoon. They had not planned it together, but Yin smiled at the zomboil when he arrived, not minding in the least that they would share a class. In fact it was preferred as the professor was a female, and Alexander could deal with her directly if necessary.

He had barely gotten into the class when everything went white.

As he began to stir to consciousness groggily tried to push himself off of the ground, having apparently fallen forward due to the shockwave. As he pushed up it became painfully evident that his chest hurt not really thinking he reached up with his claws, slicing through the wrappings on his chest. But as the wrappings fell away it just felt like his shirt was too tight.

He sat up, rubbing his hand on his face, realizing that he really needed a haircut. He actually had hair falling down the side of his face as he then looked down to see what the problem was. And froze. Something was definitely not right. He had...he had...

He blushed fiercely. What on earth was going on?! Maybe his chest was just swollen. Had he been stung by a bee earlier? But that was....that was much more than simply swollen. He had breasts. He started to cross his arms over his chest self consciously, wondering why they were even slimmer than before, but then realized that if he did so he would be touching breasts.

A slight whimper left his mouth as he looked up, eyes filled with confusion only to be met with by another wrong sight. Alexander seemed to also...Yin scrambled to his? feet, more than a little freaked out. His? pants slipped down a bit settling more firmly onto his hips. He? had hips. His? waistband was almost too loose for his? hourglass figure now and he? not only had breasts but he? had hips too?!

Where was the nearest grave to bury himself? in.

Alex wasn't really sure why he even decided to take this class today. He wasn't particularly interested in this type of thing, but he was bored, and had decided, hey, why not? The fact that Yin was also in the class was a pleasant surprise, one that he had not been not expecting. He gave the weremantis a small wave and a grin before seating himself to wait for instruction, having gotten there pretty much just as it was about to begin.

And then the world around him turned completely and blindingly white.

Alex's eyes blinked open slowly. His? head ached a little and he? realized quickly it was because he? had fallen out of his chair to the floor and must have hit it. Frowning, he? began to push himself? up...when he? realized their was a strange weight to his? chest that he'd? never felt before. Instantly he? looked down. It was probably a good thing he? was such a skinny boil before, and that his? shirts always hung so loose, because now he? suddenly had boobs, and they more then filled up the space.

What the Jaaaaaaaaack??? She thought to herself, before then noticing that her hair, normally thick and ya, possibly a little bit on the long side, was now trailing in loose curls past her thin shoulders.

Seriously?

Her eyes wide, she looked around in panic, wondering what could possibly be going on. And then she laid eyes on a ghoul, that looked oddly familiar...well, for one she was wearing Yin's clothes, and she was the same color as Yin but just...a ghoul??

Yin was a ghoul too?? Ok, that was a little bit funny, and the zombie ghoul, formally a zomboil, had to reach up one dainty hand to hide the smile that came across her perfect ghouly mouth. She slowly pushed herself to her feet, just as clumsy in this form as she ever was as a boil, and realized that her clothes were quite a bit longer then they needed to be.

Alex had shrunk down a good several inches.

Silently, she continued to stare at the Yin ghoul, head cocking to the side, side swept bangs falling into her large pale eyes surrounded by thick lashes.

Yin..Yin made a very pretty ghoul...and now he was checking her out, pale eyes sweeping the weremantis up and down, which was kindof...uh...awkward?

Whatever!

Alex couldn't help herself. She immediately fished around in her pockets for something, pulling out her eyephone and holding it up infront of her face. With a click of a button, she was finished, and she plopped the phone back into her pocket.

Oh yes, Alex had just taken a picture of ghoul Yin. Shamelessly, at that.

Suddenly an announcement came over the ickycom not to panic, and for classes to resume.

"WHAT?" She blurted, then clamped her hands over her mouth. That.was.not.Alex's.voice.

She sounded just like her sisters!

Alexander? was a ghoul. Or he? definitely looked like a ghoul. His? white hair was in delicate curls and that shirt was definitely more filled out than before. Yin managed to see all of this as the ghoul stood before him before looking down, blushing fiercely (or was it cutely?) as Alexan...dra? snapped the photo. What a demure little picture she made too.

Thankfully the weremantis ghoul was unaware that eyephone's had that capability. As it was she was standing there looking down when the announcement bleated its message into the classroom. Resume classes? She had to stay here like this?

With Alexander who was now a ghoul and she had no idea how to deal with him. Her. Yes, she was a ghoul too but that really did not matter. Her best? friend was a ghoul and now she had to talk to her and take class with her and it was...it was humiliating. She tugged on a lock of hair by her face, then realized that the action made her chest jiggle and oh Great Mantis why was she in public like this?!

While looking down she noticed that Alexander's pen had fallen on the ground and she turned and bent over to pick it up. What she had failed to realize was that she now actually had an a** to look at. Even if she had known it though, there was no reason for anyone to look...right?

She just felt so out of sorts so not knowing what else to do she crossed her arms under her breasts. There, she was not touching them. If that happened to make them even more prominent she would not have known any different. still blushing and not quite meeting Alexander's eyes, even though they were now almost at her level, she spoke in a soft, almost wispy alto. "Should...should we just finish the class then?"

Alex smiled at Yin, but then found herself tossing her hair back with a flick of her head.

Huh...that's not something she would have ever done as a boil...it seemed this wasn't just a surface change after all, which was very interesting. Was she going to start liking boils now as well?

For some reason she didn't feel any different in that respect.

Anyways, it didn't matter, because for some reason, even though him and Yin had become ghouls, and presumably other things were happening in the school as well, as the announcement seemed to indicate, they still had a class they were expected to do.

She was about to open her mouth and say something, but just did not know what to say, and really did not want to hear her voice coming out the way it had earlier again. And really, it was somewhat difficult to concentrate on those things called words when ghoul Yin was bending down.

Alex's head tilted to the side again, and blinked. This was really just...so awkward. Why could she not stop staring??

Finally, blessedly, Yin was speaking, and it jarred Alex out of her current mute state into words himself. "I--I think we have to, according to the announcement.."

Oh jack, that voice again! She seriously just wanted to bury her face in her hands and just...die.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 20, 2012 5:35 pm
Finally, something for her to focus on other than having breasts (she was not even checking about other ghoulish bits). She flashed Alexander a smile, for some reason finding her emotions seemed almost heightened in some way. She was not just relieved that she was getting to concentrate on school and ignore the very, very obvious thing that was wrong with her. She was happy about it!

So, smile blossoming across her face she went back to the table, tucking her now long hair behind one ear as she leaned in to read. "Well," she said, trying to ignore how melodious her voice sounded, "I think that the first thing we need to do is get a dummy to work on." She was trying to puzzle out the instructions, she really was. But it was hard to read them all. "First we have to...di...ag..." She trailed off, hands curling into fists as she stared at the paper.

Why had she tried to read the instructions off to this ghoul? Why had she thought it was such a good idea to just volunteer to see what they were doing when she could not even read the instructions. She could feel tears of frustration and helplessness welling up in her eyes as she had to fight back a sob. Why was she being so emotional about this? "I'm sorry, Miss," she managed to say before she had to fight back a sob.

Alex smiled back easily, though she was really very happy as a boil, so it came fairly naturally for her to do so. She moved in closer, hips swaying in a somewhat awkward fashion as she moved to Yins side and leaned down, chest shifting in her top somewhat uncomfortably.

She wondered how ghouls possibly dealt with all these...curves...on a daily basis.

Yin was reading the instructions and everything seemed to be going fine, but then she was stumbling over a word that she obviously didn't recognize, and Alex began to feel terrible for her. He then felt even worse when she began to act like she was about to cry.

"Y--Yin? It's ok! Don't.." She wanted to say don't cry but somehow thought that it might not be looked kindly upon by the weremantis, so she instead wrapped her arms around the other ghoul, pulling her in close as gently as possible, and rubbing her on the back.

Alex was suddenly very aware of how very soft Yins chest was pushed up against hers, and was reminded yet again of how much warmer the weremantis was, to the point of being almost unbearable, but not quite unpleasant, for Alex.

"Shhhhhh..." She whispered, trying to be as comforting as possible, while wondering how long she could just stand like this, cuddling against Yin, before the weremantis pushed her away. "I think what it says is we need to diagnose our dummy first"

Yin had never been so happy for a ghoul to give her an order. It was a simple "don't," a word that she understood to mean do not, but she could guess at what it was for. "Don't" cry. "Don't" make a big deal out of this. "Don't" show how weak you are. So after a minute she was able to mostly get herself under control as she nodded. Diagnose, she could do that.

She shivered slightly in the zomghoul's embrace as heat was leeched out of her. But she liked hugs. Hugs were kindof comfortable, if chilling. Everything was soft and that hand felt wonderfully nice as it stroked lazy circles on her back.

What am I thinking?! This is not the time to be...hugging a ghoul. That's what this is. A ghoul. And Alexander. Not even a regular ghoul but my best friend. What is he doing? What am I doing?

With a weak laugh Yin moved, reaching out to pull the dummy closer and to get away from that hug. That wonderful hug was a trap.

"Diagnose, of course." Concentrate on class, this is no time to act weak. Distance yourself. "I think it might be heat stroke Miss, what is your opinion?"

Of course, Yin was the one to push away, just as Alex had thought she would. If the weremantis ghoul had looked at Alex's face directly afterwards she might have noticed that the zombghoul had a very large, and somewhat serene smile. It might have been...a little offputting, to say the least.

Alex was a bit taken aback by the 'Miss', Yin was now calling her, though in all respects,it appeared to be the proper title for Yin to give her now. She shivered a little as all that warmth that had been pressed against her began to move away, which was weird since Alex preferred the cold to the warm, so really, why the barely noticeable shudder?

Alex shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts, now wondering how ghouls ever thought properly with so many emotions and thoughts scrambling through their brains. She then turned to study the dummy, thick lashed eyes sweeping across it. "Heat stroke.." She murmmered "I think that you're right Yin. Good job!"

She began to reach out, grabbing at different instruments on the table. "First I think we're supposed to remove any un-necessary clothing, and should probably wipe the body down with cool cloths? Ice packs would also be helpful, if we place them on the area's where the most blood vessels are located, since that's where most of the blood supply can be cooled."

Oh yes, Alex new all about cooling down a hot body.

(( I got half the points needed! Don't disappoint me, Yin! D: ))

Yin felt her cheeks warming at the compliment, glad that at least in the practical matters that she could be of some use. Diagnosis down, and now it was time to fix it. The zomghoul seemed to know quite a bit about cooling down a body, perhaps in case she got too warm?

Do I make Alexander too warm? Well...that was a stupid thing to focus on.

She certainly hoped not, but she tried to push it out of her mind as she followed the instructions. Strip the body down was easy enough, then she wiped it down with gentle strokes of a cool cloth, trying to pretend that the dummy in front of her was actually a person to be saved. She then placed ice packs along the body carefully before leaning back to eye her work. She seemed to have used the right amount of supplies, but had the niggling feeling that something was not right.

Her hair billowed around her as she turned to face her friend. "I think that should take care of it," she said, tone slightly worried. "Do you think this is finished?" She hoped it was finished. She needed time to sort her emotions (why were there so many of them?) out and to just...get away from people. This form was much to embarrassing.

"I....I think so?" Alex frowned, her small yet plump ghouly lips pursing. She was trying to remember if they had taken all necessary steps, or if they'd placed the icepacks in all of the right places, when the teacher wandered over to inspect their work. Alex had a very hopeful look on her face, hoping they did everything correctly.

The 'tsk'ing sound that was being issued from the classes instructor was not at all reassuring. She then proceeded to tell them that they had used far too many icepacks, which was wasteful and un-necessary. Were they trying to bring the body temperature down so rapidly that the affected would go into hypothermic shock? Alex really did not know much about hypothermia, but it sounded awful from the way the teacher was going on and on. Was that what had happened to Yin that time they had struggled through the snow? Is that what might happen if the zombghoul got too close to Yin, or held on to her for too long?

She suddenly felt incredibly and woefully terrible about herself, and wondered if she could find a large tub of chocolate eyescream to drown her misery in.

Wait...Alex didn't even like eyescream! What the Jack???

Also they apparently hadn't bothered to check if the patient was breathing or tilted back it's head to give it good airflow...which was silly really, considering it was just a dummy.

"Well...uhh...sorry, Yin. Guess I really let us down there." She couldn't even look at the other ghoul, she felt so badly.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 21, 2012 12:13 pm
The weremantis placed her hand over the zomghoul's, giving her a pleading look with her eyes. "You simply cannot blame yourself Miss Alexander! I was the one who let you down. I tried to use too many ice packs and ruined it all." She was almost in tears by that point. Again. And once again the zombie was insisting on taking the blame for something that was her fault.

She just could not take it anymore. She needed to do something. Say something. And nothing made sense anymore and she did not know what to do. She wanted the zomghoul to wrap her in a hug and tell her there was always next time. She never wanted to see the zomghoul again so that Alexander would not think any less of her than she was sure she already did. She wanted to...

She wanted to not have these overactive emotions. Or breasts. She definitely did not want breasts. And flowing long hair. She did not want to fail her class.

But what did sound nice was...running away from it all. She could think about this later. Yes, she could deal with it later and that would be okay and she would know what to do and how to handle her emotions and figure out what was happening and how to deal with her best friend that was now a ghoul. A ghoul she had held hands with. This plan sounded better by the minute.

"I shall talk to you later!" She tried to say brightly as she stood. And then she fled, knowing that if she walked at a quick (or even normal) pace that the zomghoul would not be able to keep up and she could make her escape.

Oh dear. Yin was blaming herself again for things that Alex had clearly done wrong. Why did she always do that? Why did she always make Alex feel so damned guilty for believing she had done something wrong and insist it was the other way around? And mostly, why did Alex worry so much about it and try her best constantly to keep Yin happy, to the point where if she had working tear ducts, she might now be crying herself??

And there it was, that urge to wrap her arms around the other ghoul and comfort her again, and to receive comfort from the action in turn. Her arms were almost twitching with the effort it took to stay where she was and not do it. It would be so easy, just open arms, lean in, and give the other ghoul her cool embrace. She could almost feel the heat from Yin's body already...

But Yin was standing up, and all Alex could do was blink her large and sad eyes up at the other ghoul, before she told Alex she would talk to her later, and left.

Just like that.

Alex turned to stare after her, feeling completely dejected, and not for the first time.

Yin really needed to stop using that speed thing to her advantage all the time!

Pushing herself sullenly up from her chair, her face set in a small pout, she began to shuffle back out of the classroom. Perhaps she could find some answers to what was going on if she went to the school office.
