Hiya :3 I'm attending modeling school, (Barbizon ftw ;D) and right now I have a high chance of graduating top of my class and entering the modeling market.
As a lesbien, I've seriously considered repp'ing the gay/les/tran community whilst in modeling, much how Ellen does with Covergirl. However, my biggest fear is having a limited market because of my sexual orentation, and much public hate. I'd like to show that we are able to do things, such as modeling, dispite the often viewed sterotypes from straight communities.
Any tips guys? :3?

Cpicidentally I had a friend who offered me to be in Barbizon, but I think one of my sisters are in it. I would say just be the best at what you can do and prove to them that you deserve higher standards or you show more talent than what they think you would. It could earn their respect or so.

Thanks guys. I have another concern though.
My girlfriend. Sometimes models travel, (First class >D -shot-) and I'd like to take her with me, but she's afraid she's just gonna be dead weight for the trips. Holding me down and such. We've been together thorugh hell and back, so I'd like to spend more time with her than I usually have, which isnt much...
I'll have plenty of money to afford for the both of us, and I'd like to make up the time we havent been spending together because of family issues and modeling school itself...

What's the concern?
If she feels like dead weight, then she should get a slap to the face. Honestly, if my [future] boyfriend was a model, I'd be thrilled if he took me along. Because I'd watch him strut his stuff and think, "Yeah, he's all mine. B%#$@es better back off before I break your knee caps."
If it's an inconvenience due to funding, then so be it - go next time. Modeling is your career, which your significant other should encourage and embrace. Let her know that. If she doesn't understand, then you're in the wrong relationship.
Just sayin'.

I know D: Funding shouldn't be problem, the about payment is 60,000 'Mercian bucks a week.
Give or take a few ten thousands.
She's a bit of the sensitive type, and she's never really traveled before. Maybe Im just pushing it on her XD Idfk.
I'll talk to her about it.. - m-
