However, things end badly when Michi kissed Alex and he figured out he had feelings for someone else, and he lurched away like she had a bad case of the cooties. Needless to say, Michi wasn't happy with the end result.

Things don't go well the first attempt as Michi just kicks the dummy in anger, and Alex breaks it's poor arm. The second dummy somehow lives, and the two teens leave unsure of what's going on anymore. However, they come back the next day and are forced into class together again. And this time, despite some more fighting, Alex and Michi walk away friends again.
