NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

Try One:

Calder waited in class, knelt down beside a very worn dummy laid beside him. It was general in it's appearance, made of some hard plastic and soft, rubbery material. There were some chew marks from a few students who probably were a bit TOO convinced that the dummy was realistic, along with a pair of stubby, rubber horns. Calder reached out and flicked the horns, frowning. Not even hard.

As he waited, the teacher went about and assigned their ailments, and upon receiving his, he slowly tilted his head. "Heat stroke?" He took out his textbook and flipped to the page. Not enough water. Too much heat. Being out under the Pumpkin sun for too long? "Why would you even DO that?" For a kelpie who was usually always around water if not very moistened, this ailment sounded terrifying. "Is Heat Stroke contagious?" He whispered to himself.

Calder took his supplies, which consisted of rags and water, and Calder looked at the diagram of places of where to put the rags. He soaked the rags in a bowl of water, and then placed them on the dummy's head, pits, neck, and inner legs.

But there were a lot of spots open.

Calder did not think anyone who was dry and needed water could live like this. Heat stroke was EVIL! Turning about, he took all the rags he could find and soaked them, and started to blanket the dummy in wet rags. The more the better, and the more moist the dummy was, the better off it would be. Right? By the time Cricket came to inspect his work, there was a puddle under his victim (who would barely be seen under all the wet rags). Calder beamed, but then started to from. It seemed he passed, but he still had a lot to learn.

Cleaning up his mess, he patted the dummy. "I bet you would have liked my help." He grumbled. No one would get heat stroke with Calder around.

Passable - but no new skill.

Try Two:

Calder was back in class with a brand new (and more dry) dummy and his textbook. He was optimistic that he would do well. Heck! He had a Plague Doctor as a best bro and his mother was a Herbal Tea Smith for the clan. This should be a piece of cake! Something had to sink in, right?

Sitting, he looked at this dummy who had holes in it. He didn't know what had happened, but it looked as if it had been stabbed over and over again. Calder had to wonder if that student passed.

As assignments went around, he got "broken bone" from the lot, and he looked at his dummy. "I know about these. Oh, and being stabbed." He looked to the holes in the dummy. "We can get to those next time."

Day Two:

Calder took his bandages and a piece of wood, and moved over to the leg of his victim. Honestly, he wanted to wrap up all those holes, but he pretended that this victim just has many tiny mouths. That made it seem better, and that the only thing it suffered from was a hurt leg.

Taking the splint, he set the wood against the leg, and started to wrap, making sure it was all nice and tight. He wished he could magic away a broken leg, and for fun, he waved his hands over the leg and went "Broken Bonnneeeeee HEAL." Of course even for an imaginary wound, he knew it was still broken. Still, it was packed up and he smiled when the nurse returned.

She looked at the leg, to which he beamed. "I did that."

Then she looked at the holes. "I didn't do that."

If she believed him or not, he wasn't sure, but she gave him a pass!
