Sleeping wonder lies to me, and the lies are sweet.

Has anyone ever heard of getting nauseous as an allergic reaction?
This has only happened twice, so bear with me. Neither times did I cook the food, and both were cooked by the same person. Once was shake and bake recipe, the other was her own. I've been eating shake and bake pork chops for years, no problem. One day--an ordinary day--I had the shake and bake for dinner. Later that night, I got really nauseous. Nothing happened, but I spent a good hour sitting on the bathroom floor before going to bed.
This second time was today. Again, no issues for a few hours. And then I suddenly had the urge to puke. I ran in and out of the bathroom for maybe fifteen minutes. I thought it was fine. Then, this overwhelming amount of spit filled my mouth and I just barely made it to the toilet before throwing up a huge amount. It sucked. But I don't feel sick at all. I've had food poisoning before from yogurt where as soon as I puked it out, I was all better, and this is just like then.
Is it possible that I have developed a pork allergy? Or something towards pork? What else could it be?

First of all, there is a difference between a food allergy and a food intolerance. A food allergy is where something you ate activates the immune system and you will notice things like hives, itching, and swelling. What you have sounds more like a food intolerance and it is something you develop over time. I developed an intolerance to tomatoes after spending my childhood eating lots of tomato products.

Since most intolerances are related to specific chemicals or enzymes, most likely you developed the intolerance to something in the seasoning

It could also have been contaminated meat if they were from the same batch.

On a more vague note, you could have a gallstone which would cause nausea after eating something greasy or fatty like pork meat generally is.

You have two options: You can either go to your doctor and have him figure it out or do some investigative dining and eat each part of the meal that made you sick separately - Eat pork chops with and without the shake and bake, each from different brands, eat separately whatever else you had on the plate, etc. . .
