The horse boil's other hand rose to shield his face, using the same hand still gripping the Hunter to haul himself up out of the water. Either he pulled the fleshie into the water with him, or he succeeds in rising from the frigid waters, Petro wasn't picky with either result.

Brown eyes narrowed at the Hunter's prattle but his lips pulled into a toothy grin, "Good," he hissed at the knowledge that these fleshies didn't reform. "'S what y're supposed to do."

Bix found himself being pulled into the water. His strength was just no match for the horse boil. His repeated hitting was definitely wounding the beast, but as the FEAR seeped free from the wounds, the other just kept tugging and pulling him.

He was waist deep now and the Tikbalang and he were almost face to face. His legs stung from the cold but he kicked and thrashed. Mina was pulsing with a charge but was useless on the ground, barely held in his hand as he continually tried to pull himself from the monster's grasp.

"I'll get you. And your friends." He hissed, breathing heavy.

The cold and his injuries had taken their toll on Petro. It was only through sheer force of will was he able to maintain his hold on the Hunter. But as much as the tikbalang resisted it, his FEAR was dissipating at an alarming rate. Just before the combined attacks from the fleshie and the icy waters completely scattered him into FEAR particles, the horse boil declared, "We'll always be here. Can't say the same for y'."

And with a mirthless laugh, Petro grabbed the Hunter's weapon. The contact instantly dispersed the monster horse into FEAR particles. Whether he knew that would happen was up for debate. But Tro knew what the Hunter with the Bow looked like now. He'd have a face to aim for come sparring sessions.
