Murmerings of an Ex-lurker

So I've decided to start a journal here. I'm already a blogger (link is in the siggy), but I guess I want something slightly less on structured. So...journal. Also I think I might be a good way to get to know the girls....as I realized I really don't know any of you. I was active and then I kind of went lurker for a year or so. But I'm back now. Consider this the begining of my return to active posting.

Feel free to comment. I would prefer it if you did.

Murmerings for Thursday

Surprisingly nothing of note has occurred yet. Then again it's only 9:30 so you know. Something might happen. I had a mini freak out this morning thinking I had something due for speech that isn't actually due until next week. Where is my head this morning? Don't know.

Anyways, as I'm not going to bore you with the details of my morning do nothing, I thought I'd just tell you a little about me.

Prefers to be called: Nani.

Age: 18

Religion: ecletic pagan.

Favorite Color: depends. I like blues and purples alot though. But I also like reds... I have color combos I like I guess.

Currently Reading: Plato's Republic and Don Quixote.

Favorite Music: Anything really, I'm ecletic like that, but I like the lyrics to mean something, or for the sound to be really neat. Preferably both.

That's really all I can think of for right now.

Mummerings for Friday

So I'm sitting here on campus listening to the soundtrack of Once On This Island. I'm kind of in love with the music of the play right now. So much so that last night I ripped the music off youtube. xd

I'm in an unusually happy mood today because today is my last day of classes before spring break. I'm looking forward to it. Just got to make it through my language classes and then all's well. Yep.

Mummerings for Thursday

So in my efforts to reject my lurkerish ways I realized I haven't posted anything in months. But I've been around. I assure you all I have been here. Lurking. I think lurkerism is just in my blood or something.

I do have a real excuse I guess. Blog. Radio show. Finals. You know real life or something. I don't know. I really could have posted, but I guess I'd rather lurk. Ain't that something? That people like me simultaneous want to command attention - I'd like my book to be a best seller, I'd like my blog to take off - but at the same time as I wish the world would pay attention to me, I want to fade into the shadows and lurk around being noticed by no one.

What kind of freaking paradoxical way to live is that?
