Shehk didn’t quite scramble, but she did make a point to pull herself into hiding the first opportunity she got, taking a deep breath as the patroller passed her by, allowing her to look around the area carefully (despite being on her hands and knees at the time), looking for a familiar orange glow as she carefully snuck out of hiding to go retrieve it, giving the area another suspicious look around before she actually did grab it.

Fortunately, she didn’t get grabbed in the process of grabbing.

The next trinket she spotted was also retrieved rather quickly, and by that point in time, Shehk wasn’t sure how many she had anymore. But she didn’t have time to count them right then. She’d worry about how she was doing when she got somewhere to hide in. Which wasn’t where she was right then.

More careful steps, and Shehk soon picked up another trinket, turning it over in her hand once before she also stashed it away, looking around cautiously for where she would go next – but also to make sure there wasn’t anything too close to her to be caught by. She needed to be careful for sure.

Another Trinket fell into her possession easily as she snuck about.

Another followed after it. How many did she have now? She wasn’t sure, and a quick look around told her she really needed to take a break to find out.

Creeping into a safe looking hiding place, Shehk settled in, pulling out the trinkets she had collected thus far to count them out. Fourteen. She had fourteen in her possession right then. That was good. That was close! She could finish this off in a relatively short amount of time if she could spot one more of those blasted trinkets.

She lingered in hiding to take a look around before she moved, spotting what she was looking for not too far off in the distance. She could manage that, right?

Stepping out of hiding, her foot slid, causing several needles to crack underneath her foot – loudly. Shehk winced, looking around before she made a point to move from where she was right then, surveying the area for any patrollers or guardsmen as she walked. She seemed to be alright

But she did, however, notice a Guardsman not too far from what it was she was looking for, frowning lightly as she sunk low to the ground, watching it look around – looking for her as she snuck past it as quietly as she could. She was OK, she was OK, she was OK.

Once she was free of it, though, she finally moved, picking up that trinket that hadn’t been all too tricky to get, counting how many trinkets she had in her hand before grinning. Fifteen. She’d gotten fifteen of them, and it made her feel mighty!

With all fifteen trinkets required in hand, Shehk made a point to not linger too long, stepping carefully through the trees to head back towards where it was she’d come in. She was done.
