Okay, that had ended badly, but she was stubborn. She could do this. She could totally do this. She just..needed to not let herself get spooked by things like she had last time.

Keep moving.

The forest had told her to stop moving, this told her to move. She needed to get some sort of balance going now. Hrrngh.

HP: 40/40

Shehk made a point to actually start off running this time. Don't worry about it, don't worry about it, don't worry about it. This was tricky stuff, but she could manage it. Keep her head open, keep her eyes open. This wasn't too different from the Horseman trial, right? She didn't need to be perfect right off.

But she would have liked it a lot if she could manage it, sigh.

Something crackled past her and she frowned, feeling it singe ever so slightly. That....that wasn't too bad. She couldn't help but frown, though. These classes were a lot more difficult than she would have liked, but this worked out. Kind of. She liked the idea of it.

It gave her an outlet for everything she had on her mind recently. People, events, other things. She'd never been so paranoid for her own health.

She'd slowed down. She realized that as the lightning sizzled past her again and she frowned. It was the most epic frown he could imagine. She needed to speed up! Move quicker! She could do this, right? Dammit, she didn't want this to turn into her next 'task' like the forest had been.

She was quicker than this. She knew she was. What was wrong with her? Maybe it was the thinking that was getting to her. Stop thinking, just run.

The 'stop thinking' had apparently helped somehow, Shehk putting all her focus into how quickly she was moving her legs and finding her next foothold. This wasn't too bad. She needed to just predict where she was going to run next. Where she was stepping.

Where she was going.

Move. If you slide, move your other leg faster.

Go.

She lost a foothold and slid back, making a surprised noise before the lightning hit her again, hissing in pain as it left a dark black mark on her chest and a strange floral pattern across her skin, feeling drained all at once as she panted and moved down into one of the narrow walkways to give herself a second to breathe.

She needed to take a break and then try again. Dammit.
