Didn't want to say anything until it was certain. I have a job again, finally. I finished training this week, but it was like...25 hours of company training that almost has nothing to do with what I'll actually be doing. Mostly just propaganda love the company and don't get us sued stuff. One of the other girls that has worked there before told me I'll get more training related to my actual job once I get started at my store. Just waiting for them to call me with my schedule, though if I don't hear from them by Monday I'm gonna give them a call myself.
I'm making less than $8/hour and I have to ride my bike 7 miles there and 7 miles home, so it's almost not even worth working but I feel much better knowing that I'll be making something, even if it is measly. It'll pay for cat food and all of the stuff that I need for Lazy, anyway.

Congratulations! Having a job really helps with mental health (unless it causes more stress than not having one I guess haha). For me, it helped my confidence and gave me peace of mind. And even if it's not something you enjoy, woo-hoo for future resume fillers! razz

Gabrielle_AnimalLuver Aww, congrats! Well, ur not spending money in transport, getting exercise, and earning enough to treat ur pets to the finer things in life. That's totally worth going It's the hillls, they kill me. The entire way there is all up and down hills. When I'm riding there I'm like "I'll.....never....make...it..." Then when I get there I'm all "WOOOOOOOOOO I AM THE KING OF THE WORLD" I just keep telling myself that after a few months of this, it'll be nothing. Of course we have to start finding out own place soon, and all of the places we can afford are about 15 miles away from my work, but I'll figure that out when we get to it.
It's a job I could see myself doing for a few years. I like to bake, the people are cool, and the company has really good benefits supposedly, but I won't be able to do it long term unless I get some type of raise, there's just no way.
