Do rats just sneeze somtimes?

Or is it always serious?

Because my boy chaos had a weird sneezing fit yesterday and its the first time it ever happened and he hasn't really been doing it since but it kind of scared me.

sometimes they just sneeze. if it happened for a few days then check what litter you are using to make sure it isnt dusty and vacuum around the cage more often, if it keeps up after that then go to the vet.

we all get sneezy fits every once in a while, even our vermins

Blaze has sneezy fits once in a while. But no discharge, no lethargy, no nothing and it's been months so I leave it be and just make sure the cage is uber clean. If I smell a hint of ammonia, they smell it, so it's gone. I use towels for both bedding and litter now, so there is ZERO dust or scent in the cage.
