I would go for fairy tail. Their magical abilities outweighs most Blood line trait or jutsu because they just have to speak the spells name. (ninjas must do hand signs and speak the name). But if we add the fact that Ninjas are born to be killers while magicians only use as needed (not seen anyone die in Fairy Tail but could be wrong) Then Ninjas are at an advantage. Still I wanna side with Fairy Tail.

Hmmm... are you asking which is better or which would win in a duel?
But I'd say Naruto for both of those, I find the story more original and interesting, plus Naruto is currently waaay stronger than Natsu (though Erza would pwn every Naruto girl) xD

Fairy Tail is the bomber over Naruto because Fairy Tail is so much more exciting. The characters are great and the anime is amazing!

im thinkin fairy tail would win blaugh .....i mean think abut it erza and mira is all thats needed for the girls and the battle between natsu and naruto would drag on for forever

I think that the Jiuubi beats anything in the Fairy Tail Universe anyday and it just seems like there are more ninjas than magicians.

this is off topic but has any one noticed that in both naruto and fairy tail the people with black hair are kind of off. think about it sasuke gajeel zefef rogue and even gray he randomly gets naked sweatdrop

I'm gonna go with Fairy Tail and I haven't even read the series - naruto is so overrated imo. So yeah, I'll side with them, even if they would be the losing team lol
