Dreamcloud attempted in vain to bite back a fit of giggles at Nightshade's comment.

"Definitely a rather... Interesting idea," she commented.

Rarity sighed. "Yes, yes I suppose it is."

Golden Heart chuckled. "Well, adventurous is one. The little tyke would always find new places to crawl into inside the house and pop out completely different. Always thought he was gonna give me a heart attack sooner or later.

Ember joined in. "He was so adorable when he put on a little exploring hat and jumped off of things, saying he was going to "fall into the lava" if he didn't."

Bonfire lay completely on his stomach and put his hooves over his face.

Dreamcloud saw how embarrassed he was, and decided to chime in.

"I used to do the same thing. Imagination is always a sign of a great pony, and creative little ones are hard to come by," she said, leaving out the bit where her parents grounded her for acting immature.

"And creative he was!" Golden Heart agreed. Bonfire slowly removed one hoof from his face and looked to Dreamcloud with a thankful smile. "So, Bonfire, what're you doing in Ponyville nowadays?"

Bonfire slowly sat back up and cleared his throat. "I'm a firepony. I run the Ponyville Fire Department all by myself."

"Makes sense." Ember replied mildly surprised.

"What do you mean?" Bonfire asked.

Ember smiled. "Don't you see? You're talent is a little bit of a mix of ours. Your fire talent comes from my ability to heat things up, and your brave nature comes from your father. What did you think Golden Heart meant?"

Bonfire giggled. "Oh, I guess I hadn't though t about that."

"Huh, that's pretty cool!" says Tempest.

Celestia put a hoof on Bonfire's shoulder and he jumped slightly. Bonfire looked to her and met her gaze. Understandingly, he smiled and nodded. Bonfire, as well as Tempest, had learned the same lesson.
