CREEPER SCOUTS - club interest thread!

The Creeperscouts, as an institution, has been around for the last hundred years, existing to promote sportsmanship and survival skills. It began as an offshoot of militia training - with a heavy focus on stealth, combat training, and scaring. As it was adapted for younger generations, however, it lost some of it's more serious edge. It became more reward and goal oriented, introducing the badge system and breaking into 'troops' that represented regional areas of Halloween. These troops have semi-annual meets, where they compete in feats of skill in a friendly competition that often invokes cross-school or species rivalries.

Boils and ghouls who join the Creeperscouts are issued a uniform, a canteen, and one tent. Members are required to attend a minimum of 1 meet or campout per year, and are given goals based on their age range and regional specialties. They are each also issued a scouting book, containing basic information on the skills required to be a successful scout, as well as a breakdown of the many merit badges and how to obtain them.

Scouts are broken up by age group and rank - and this rank is often determined by age. Younger scouts, often very small scarelings, are Implets. Grade schoolers before high school are considered scouts, and high schoolers and older are full-fledged Creeperscouts. Often, the older Creeperscouts are responsible for running activities for their region's younger troops. As for the Creeperscouts themselves- they have a regional council-appointed representative for each troop, who is given leave to elect officers to assit themselves in this regard.

In summary, Creeperscouts is about camping, outdoorsmanship, and, well, fun! If your student enjoys the great outdoors or wants to learn survival skills in the company of friends, or maybe simply wants to become the ultimate creeper, this club is for you!

Did you know...

The average person has enough fat reserves to live for four to six weeks without food. So, Creepers, remember to always carry a full camel pack, and you'll be set to creep for weeks at a time!
