NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

Nyyrikki walked into the classroom, keeping his eye out for bugs and other things he shouldn't be stepping on if he didn't want to make Cricket angry. He'd decided after seeing Roch heal his sunburn during the trials that it was probably a good idea for him to learn a little healing himself. Not that he really knew what to expect.

He certainly hadn't known to expect the dummy lying on the floor. It actually looked a little bluer than the other dummies lying around it. Did that mean it was... cold?

Rikki actually wished he had brought Danny with him for this. She'd know how to warm something up. Rikki was kind of useless for that. He didn't have fire or an higher than average body temperature. He did have a hoodie though, even if this one didn't have sleeves. He pulled it off and wrapped the dummy in it awkwardly, staring at the dummy in a less than satisfactory way.

It was then that Rikki noticed the pile of blankets in the corner of the room. Those were probably a lot better than his measly hoodie. He rushed over and took three of them, immediately mummifying the dummy still in his jacket and hugging it close just in case that helped. Slowly the dummy's color turned something more normal for a dummy and Rikki was pleased with the result.

The only problem was that Cricket didn't seem thrilled about how many blankets he'd ended up using.

Rikki moved on to another dummy, pleased with his first try. This one, however, was not something he was comfortable with. The leg of this dummy was twisted at an obscene angle that made Rikki's stomach churn when imagining a real student's leg twisted like that.

Apparently he'd have to patch up a broken bone.

Nyyrikki stood staring at the leg for a long moment before he did anything. It was just.. gross looking. It didn't want to try to fix that. Still, he had to if he wanted the credit. He bent down at got a closer look (which was worse) and realized he'd have to straighten it out in order to really fix the problem. He pushed the leg gently at first and found that it moved quite easily, which was a relief. In a matter of seconds he had it strait and looking like a normal leg again. He knew, however, that if the dummy had been a real student, it would have screamed in pain. But the goal was a straight leg, so he was satisfied.

The next problem was fixing the leg in place. Making it straight was fine and dandy, but if there was any pressure put on it it would just get worse. He figured he'd need to fashion a splint, and he found the straightest, sturdiest materials to do that with. To keep the splint in place he wrapped clean white bandages around and around until he couldn't see the leg at all from where the bandages began to where they ended. When he was done he checked to make sure that the leg would be stable even when moved, and it was.

Despite his initial nausea, he'd done very well. Once again, however he'd used too many materials, and Cricket was displeased. In his mind, beggars couldn't be choosers. That dummy would walk away with a fine leg. So what if he used too much bandage.

The next dummy Rikki attempted didn't look any different from a normal dummy. It sat, looking perfectly fine and unharmed. It actually took Rikki a while to realized that it had a note on it that read "not breathing", which of course Rikki didn't understand. Was it an undead? In that case, he didn't need to do anything. But there was actually a set of instructions by the dummy he was supposed to follow.

Nyyrikki read the instructions with some disbelief. At some point, he was going to have to put his lips to this lifeless thing. This wasn't like kissing Danny. Who knew how many others had put their mouths all over these dummies. He groaned and tried not to think about that before he had to.

First, he checked for blockages. According to the instructions, that meant anything in the throat or nose blocking breathing. When he looked and saw nothing, he moved on. He then had to tilt the dummy's head back. Easy enough, even if it looked odd. He had to do 30 compressions, which was pressing on the dummy's chest, and then came the horrible part. With some distaste he put his lips to the dummy's and breathed out. Once. Twice. It tasted like powder and horribleness and he really hoped that they'd been sanitized. He had to repeat the compression and the breathing a few times until he felt like he'd done enough.

In the end, he deemed that he'd done well in bringing a lifeless dummy back to lifelessness.
