The air was thick and humid and the sun had just recently set leaving the sky a dull purple. The edge of the water lapped at the shore, the silence was deafening. There wasn't a movement at all along the shore, but just a short ways into the water a light shape moved slowly along the shore. The light colors flickering beneath the surface.

Bennett let out a breath, letting the bubbles rise to the surface. He pulled himself closer to the shore, the light blue of his tail piercing up from the surface. He let the fins on his tail bend and wave around slowly. A small smirk slowly creeping across his thin lips. It would only be a short amount of time before he drew some attention.

Bennett arched his back out of the water, rising out to meet his gaze with the vampire. His eyes narrowed before sinking a little bit back into the water. His long arm stretched out towards her, his hand breaking up through the water, ushering her to come closer. She didn't look like the last few faekats who'd wandered too close. This one was obviously a fighter. He had his head about him and prepared for whatever this one had up her sleeve.

"Beautiful."

The word was almost like a song. His voice was gentle and comforting and his eyes appearing to be sincere.
