This time around, the Reaper waited a little longer before making his next move. He was wearing down greatly at this point, so he wanted to make sure that his hits counted. Gripping onto his daggers, he crouched down, preparing himself. Slowly, he controlled his breathing, clearing his mind as much as he could so he could focus on the fight and only the fight.

It looked as if Mei was wearing down as well, so he definitely wanted to cut this thing down before they were both incapacitated. Not noticing her attempt to heal him just yet, he moved in, managing to strike the bush. It wasn't much, but it was still something.

"This isn't looking so good," he murmured as he continued to try and control his breath.

Not backing away just yet, Shun stabbed his daggers into the bush once more before finally getting knocked back.

"Kussooo..." he hissed as he dropped down to one knee. He was out. And the bush still looked like it had a little bit of a kick left in it. Hissing sharply, he clenched his daggers tightly as he stared it down. It was on Mei now.

Creeping Shrubbery HP: 36/100

The Creeping Shrubbery looked more and more confused as it found itself attacked, and by the time the students had stopped attacking, it was a lot smaller... And also a lot more confused about why everything looked larger all of a sudden.

"There we go-"

There was a flash of blue as Malcolm dropped out of the sky, whacking the not-so-minipet on its head with his staff, causing it to go 'meeeeeew' before tumbling over, fast asleep. As he landed on the ground, the staff was desummoned with a wave of his hand, before he turned to look at the pair, "Wonderful teamwork, both of you. This should make it much easier to get it back to normal..." He patted the Creeping Shrubbery on its maw, and then led the two students out another portal, back into the classroom where they started out, "Thank you for your help, and congratulations to the both of you for being promoted into Hobs. You've come a long way."

From the looks of things, they were now free to leave.

Shun cursed again as Mei soon went down not long after he did. But then Malcom had dropped in on them. Literally, to take care of things from there. Standing up straight to leave the portal, he merely let out a sigh as the professor congratulated them. Personally, he was disappointed in himself, feeling he should have been able to do more to the bush than he had. He might have come a long way, but he still had much more to do.

"..Good work," he murmured to Mei, before moving on his way to head home.
