A little back story:
I've been dealing with a dental abscess for over three weeks now
crying I managed to get an emergency dental visit and was prescribed antibiotics. They worked quickly.. but two days ago the same molar abscessed again, in a different fashion.
Instead of being deep in the jawbone and swelling outward visibly like the last time, it's like a small blister right under the molar. It's drained a bit here and there, but not completely.
donotwant My GP prescribed a mouthwash, but I'm really tempted to try popping it with a sterilized needle... I haven't done it because I don't want to screw things up even worse - even though I'm afraid that doing nothing will mean damage to the bone and I'll lose the tooth and the ones next to it.
gonk My next dental appointment isn't until June 5. Does anyone have any advice on what to do meanwhile? It's driving me insane, not from the discomfort and occasional spikes of pain
stressed if I bite down on that side, but because I have to chew all my food with the other side.
Help me!
