She had woken up before the crack of dawn, like she always did for the last months. Then, she did the daily ritual: Washing her face, checking the calendar, putting on her work clothes, making and then eating breakfast. A little once over with the mirror later, Pony quickly stepped out of her little house.

She quickly made her way to the tool storage, quickly taking out what she needed, then made a beeline to the fields of her little farm (which was on the outskirts of a nearby town). With her watering can in hand, purple eyes and gloved paws inspected the vegetables. Smiling as some of them were days away to be harvested, she watered the lines of tomatoes, corns and watermelons. She had to pause when water stopped flowing; with a sigh, she went to refill the can, "I definitely need to get a bigger one..." The Pure sighed and finished with the rest of the produce.

With that done, as the sun went higher in the sky, Pony changed the can for a small sickle. Grass and wild plants had overgrown all over the property, another result of neglect, something that made the girl sigh. The girl didn't stay unhappy long, though, for she soon smiled again. "Well, let's start, then!" She declared to no one in particular and, with a determined look, quickly crouched down to the ground; one paw held a handful of it, while the other swiftly cut it with the sickle it held. A happy tune escaped her lips as she trimmed the grass.

He had only meant to go out to pick up a few things but when his daughter had heard his was going into town the trip that would have taken five minutes had lasted three hours and now he was carrying several large bolts of fabric, Sumiko had offered to carry them herself but he knew they where to heavy for her so he had offered to carry them home while she went to go meet up with some friends of hers.

There home wasn't terribly far away, it was a bit of a walk though and his arms we're getting a little tired, but he could make it then he could drop theses things off in the spare room that served as his daughters studio then he could...er.. what was he going to do after that? He never really planned his days out so nothing really.

Suddenly an unexpected yell broke him out of his thoughts and he jumped a little, not that he was scared!..Just started. Yea that was it.. Unfortunately the top bolt had fallen free from his hands and rolled off into the field, unraveling along the way "No no no no, quit doing that!" he yelled at t he roll of fabric, it had to be the light blue that Sumiko had been so excited to find, hopefully it wouldn't be ruined..

This was difficult. Some plants had grown so much that she had to cut them many times before they were at ground level. 'Seriously, was it difficult to keep this place clean?' Pony wondered angrily, but simply continued working. What if someone suddenly decided to drop by? Surely they wouldn't like making bussiness with the owner of an unkept farm.

Grab, pull, cut; grab, pull, cut. Grab, pull, watch light blue fabric roll inside the property, cut. Grab...

"Huh?" Pony turned around as she indeed saw the pretty fabric was getting near her. Her ears twitched as she heard someone yell, but was more interested at this, uh, interesting guest. Though at least, it wouldn't judge her property.

And of course the whole thing had to unravel completely off and all twenty yards of it would probably have dirt on it, hopefully none of it would be ripped.. seeing a near by porch he set the rest of it down and went to go reel in the powder blue fabric from the field...oh someone was in there..Wait this was a farm or something right? Which would make the person out there the farmer.. Now he was also hoping the roll of fabric hadn't taken out any crops on it way, for he had been told before most farmers where very ill tempered and hating having the fields messed up.

"Sorry sorry, I'll just get that and be out of you way.."he yelled out before picking up the edge of the blue fabric and giving it a slight pull... And great, it was stuck.. probably on a small rock or something "Thats just great.." he sighed "Sorry again.." he went down into the field to gather it up without ripping it.

As if hypnotized by the strange sight, Pony stood still as the line of blue grew longer, going straight to the field. It looked as if it would collide with the tomatoes, which of course would not end well; but it miraculously, the red produce was narrowly avoided. It just kept going and going and going... until it simply stopped, as all of the material was sprawled out on the ground. Purple eyes blinked once, twice, until she fully registered what had just happened and slowly approached it.

Depite having now a dusty layer on it, she noted that it was a pretty fabric, that made the Pure wince a little, not daring to guess how much did it cost. She turned to where she fully heard the voice and steps of someone coming in. "Ahh, no, no! It's okay." She quickly said to who, she assumed, was the owner of the material; took her own dirtied gloves off, dropped them on the ground and walked over to where her two 'guests' were. "That seems too much for just one." She called out, now a bit more relaxed. "And it's okay, really. Want me to help?" Pony offered, a friendly smile on her face to assure this stranger that, yes, she wasn't angry at all.

Well she seemed friendly enough, at least she wasn't chasing him away with a pitchfork like others had told him, oh and she was offering to help to! "Sure that be great!" he smiled and looked at how far the fabric had traveled "I think its caught on something, maybe if we each grabbed one end and lifted it.." it seemed like that might be a way to get it loose with out ripping it... Maybe they would also be able to shake off most of the dirt that had gotten on it.

"Really? That's troublesome..." She followed his gaze, making a mental note to sweep the ground as soon as she had time. Pony looked at him as he explained the small plan, nodded, then walked over to the other end of it, careful not to step on that pretty blue hue. She crouched a little to reach the fabric, gloveless paws grasping it gently. "Oh, this is a nice material." She said as she ran it through her fingers. " I think slow is the way to go for this, I'd hate seeing this ruined." The female commented. Then again, it was his, so she was fine if he decided for another way.
