"I'm not a gambling man, usually. I don't take risks anymore unless they're a pretty sure bet, but I definitely had my wilder times back in my youth. One evening, I was playing a dice game in an alleyway with a few friends I had just met. This was years ago, mind you, but I seemed to have mastered the game we were playing, and in my excitement I had removed my shirt and was swinging it in a circle over my head. I'd nearly cleaned everyone else out by that point, and my hooting and hollering made quite the scene. A little too good of a scene, in fact, because we heard some sirens off in the distance and decided it was time to jump a couple walls and get out of there.
One of the players, a rather elegant gentleman in a dapper top hat, owed me money. He told me to run with him back to his place and he'd pay me in fine artworks. I followed him over several fences, through part of a sewer, under a bridge, and through a drainage canal to his house. Sure enough, he sent me off with a big painting underneath each arm and told me to never return. They now hang in my garage. I suppose you could say that was my "brush" with art. Ha!
