A familiar sight the haunted house was becoming this past week or so. Shun frowned as he found himself within the halls once again. No doubt trouble was going to be showing up soon too. Taking in a deep breath, he shoved his fists into his pockets while keeping an eye out for anyone around.

Someone had to be here already.

There always was.

The air in here bothered him too. He felt weaker than usual. Like he had already been fighting for awhile. This wasn't a good sign.

Sitting still, Shun tried to listen for anything, but he wasn't picking up on anything just yet. He controlled his breathing, focusing on trying to detect if anyone was around, and if so, where they were.

Quietly, he moved around the corner, spotting the hunter not too far off. He didn't recognize this one particularly. While he had the chance, he looked him over, getting an idea what he was seeing here. The hunter had two swords. Cutlasses if he was seeing that correctly. There was also a moon on his coat.

Narrowing his eye, he slowly moved, trying to get into a better position. Perhaps he could get the jump on this one.

Shun considered his options here. He could go in for an attack right away, or try and narrow out this hunter's weakpoints first. With the way he was feeling at the moment, he wasn't entirely certain if he should take things a little more offensively or defensively. Right now, he already had the advantage of potentially getting in the first strike.

Using a fear, even if it was only affecting himself, could potentially alert the other to his position. Well, he wasn't actually certain if hunters could sense fear, but he figured it would be better to not blow his cover from expending Fear. And so, he called out his daggers and moved in.

As quietly and quickly as he could, he rushed towards the hunter's backside before aiming to stab into him.

s**t that didn't go quite as planned. Shun took the blow of the sword pretty hard there. Letting out a hiss of pain, he could already feel something warm trickling down his side. It wasn't normal to feel like this so soon. It wasn't like he had been injured prior to finding himself in this house too.

"Nothing personal," he replied mildly. It really wasn't. At least not with this hunter. But he certainly wasn't going to waste an opportunity to potentially put one to his grave. The reaper soon vanished, leaving behind a small puff of smoke. However, he reappeared to Marcus's side to strike. From there, he continued to teleport around the hunter to attack at multiple angles rapidly until he finally settled a short distance away, crouched down with his daggers raised and ready.

Shun didn't have anything else to say in return to the Hunter. He had no reason to right now. And now the guy had his back to the wall. In a way, the reaper had him cornered, but that wasn't really a time to start getting cocky. Those swords the hunter had gave him a bigger reach over his own daggers. Getting in without taking a heavy hit could be tricky.

Watching the human for a moment, he went on to try and strike, slashing out at one of his legs.

Maybe he could reduce his mobility further and all this way.

Shun could be working on getting information as well, but he doubted he would able to get much of anything useful out of this one. So instead, he was watching the way this one moved. If anything, he could still log some basic information. Seeing him begin to move, the Reaper shifted back quickly to avoid getting hit. There! An opening!

Right after the blade sailed past him, he pushed against the ground and lunged forth to get past the weaponry. One dagger was aimed to try and slash his midsection open while the other went to try and get his throat. He had no way of knowing if the house was effecting this one as well, but that wasn't stopping him from trying to get in what could potentially be a killing blow.

Shun could have sworn there was something that shifted just now. In any case, he was planning on ending this if possible. When he felt the hand at his wrist, he found himself pushed back before he could strike again. And then the hunter escaped using those words he had heard before. Yes, he was certain that was the passcode or something like that to activate that pendant.

"Che."

Perhaps he was close to killing that one after all. Oh well. There will be more opportunities in the future. He was certain of it. Dismissing his daggers, he turned and walked out the door.
