Alone, Rowan hummed a small melody to himself as he worked with the flowers. Normally he would be quietly hiding up in the trees, or one of his other many hiding places. Today though, today was different. A few weeks ago he had defeated a demon, and defended his forest all by himself. He had also met a few ottsels who had helped protect the forest. The sun was out and shining, the birds were singing and many small animals were skittering about collecting food and finding mates.

Padding softly, Tane took in the sights around her: the soft breeze that passed, the warm sun shining down... it was a perfect day to look about the area. It was strange, though she's lived close all this time, she had never seen this place... Suddenly, her ear flickered, catching a faint melody, "Hello?" her voice soft, not wanting to scare whoever it may be away.

Ears picking up a sound, Rowan swallowed his song and looked around almost fearfully. The sound had been soft, maybe a baby bird? Carefully getting into a crouching position, he edged himself back. When he had hidden himself in the foliage, he glanced around with sapphire eyes. Throwing his voice, he called out to see if someone was there. "H-hello?" came out softly from a tree catty corner to him. Rowan stayed motionless, ears perked up to listen for anyone and eyes glancing about.
