It looks so good. And after reading a few articles about it it actually sounds like the movie makers are experimenting with 3D in a way that actually is different. They said in one of the articles they are messing around with it a bit and it should help give that disorientated feel the games had, the feeling that put people on edge the most, more in the movie. Instead of it feeling like the movie is coming at you, like with most 3D, the movie pulls you in by altering....a bunch of film focus terms I don't understand but it sounds cool.

And this one I think won't be so depressing maybe but still possibly bittersweet like most Silent Hill game endings were. That should make it easier to feel part of the movie. I liked the last one but...you could tell that they weren't going to have even a bittersweet ending fairly early on, I felt, and that made the movie a little harder to watch.
