"You try bein' sympathetic when the little bastards follow you everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. Let's just hope whatever's eatin' them desn't try to join the-" He gave a sudden surprised yelp as his desk wobbled, the shimmering around the metal legs as though frustrated the food sources were escaping.

There was suddenly a loud clanking growing closer from the hallway before the door was thrown open again.

"I've got it!!" Professor Norvegicus had returned, a heavy gallon jug of something sloshing in his arms, and his normally bare, rattish feet encased in metal boots, his hands in thick, tall rubber gloves, and his voice was muffled behind the armored gas mask. "Alright everyone just... don't breath for a few minutes, alright? At least too much. Er. Go to Cricket immediately if you feel er... light headed at all..." He explained before starting to splash the liquid in a circle around Selene's failing desk.

There was a hiss, and several high-pitched shrieks as what started as shimmering suddenly revealed itself as horrible little creatures with nasty, gnarled teeth materialized from it's near invisibility.

Whatever chemical he had poured on them didn't so much kill them as make them even angrier.

"Er... well. Now it might be er... safe to um..." He chittered nervously before giving a hearty stomp with his metal boot to crush one before it launched itself at the snake-girl.

He hurried to try to spread out across the classroom, splashing the chemical as he went.

TG wasn't paying much attention during class as his phone just recorded and then typed out the lecture. Notebook and paper? That was so Victorian! There were apps for that.

When instructed to lift limbs from the floor, TG only looked at his own legs who in no way touched the ground when he sat, and he shrugged. No change in this corner of the classroom, through he was entertained to see the rats and roaches scramble for their life and pop about Enzo's desk.

That was until the pest teacher came to take care of the pest problem it seemed to have created. TG watched the desks wobble in frustration before slowly moving to sit on his desk - which offered him plenty of room. Being small had it's advantages.

"Lame lectures and now pest problems. This school isn't as grand as the rumors and reputation make it out to be." He watched one of the little creatures scurry past his desk.

Shun stared as the rats dissolved. His eye widened for a moment and he quickly looked over at Mitsu... who was still very much asleep. Shifting in his seat, he crouched in his chair and tried to lean over to grab the girl.

"Mitsu. Time to get up," he murmured. He couldn't reach her feet, so he was going to see if he could lift her up to sit her on her desk.

It wasn't easy from where he was.

Hearing some shrieks, he looked to the side to see the mad science teacher dealing with some nasty looking creatures.

Mot groaned at Enzo's response. What could he say really? Mot didn't speak from experience like Enzo did. He supposed one would become jaded after a while. Still.. poor Mister Squeaks!

The entrence of the other professor did not instill any confidence in the integrity of the faculty.

The strange liquid made the invisible creatures visible. On the plus side, he could see what to avoid. On the down side EW EW EW EW EWWWWWW!!!!! Mot yelped and sat on top of his desk now, keeping his feet away from the floor. Sitting this way was awkward, thanks to his spurs.

TG looked to the cowboy and started to laugh, laying back as he snickered. "Oh come on! You're not really scared of something THAT small?" Considering TG was tiny as well, he really shouldn't have room to talk.

"Just step on them with your boot! If a giant rat can do it..." He pointed at Norvie. "...then you can."

"Uh, how about no? I like my teeth and nails WHOLE thank you!" Mot stammered back at TG, furrowing his brows.

Kettil was almost proud of the teacher when she just went on after the doodles she discovered that he'd made that he won't tell her about ever.

He would even go as far as to deny it up and down if anyone rats on him.

There was a tenuous amount of trust between him and the 'witnesses' that saw what he had done earlier either way she didn't break down sobbing so he felt a little less guilty (but still uneasy thanks to Mister Touchy McToucherson). As he finished up notes it seemed that more trouble was on the rise as he didn't hesitate to climb onto his desk and Endzela flew over to him to land on his shoulder.

"...Such a waste of a meal," she murmured to her Reaper mournfully.

He sighed a bit and offered her a treat from his pouch.

Astra had looked a little crestfallen when Selene had said her answers were the same thing, and had proceeded to continue to take notes for the rest of the class. But she looked up when the other professor came into the class, and then squeaked as their surroundings just turned nasty. Putting her belongings back into her back, she just jumped off her chair and held onto it, floating around in the air. Although she was starting to think if this was a good time to bail the class...

As the class had progressed on, Poke had listened quietly for a little while, feeling sorry for the teacher. She seemed to be nice, but very disorganized and...was she crying at some point? At any rate it was a interesting class, and it became more interesting when the floor was trying to dissolve them.

But she enjoyed all her body parts, so she perched onto of the desk, tail curling around herself and took a gander around the class.

Safe was the only word she needed to hear.

"Students!" Selene squeaked out in a high pitched voice. "Make your way quickly to the exit and - and do not look back! Your homework is written on the board, just try to remember it and write it down later thank you for coming to my very first class it has been a pleasure to be here with you today I will see you all next class and aaaaaaeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiieeeee!"

Her fast paced rush of talking was punctuated by a screech when one of the tooth fairies started to pull at her hair, trying to get her to lean her head back far enough to climb into her mouth. Selene started batting away at the fairy, snapping her mouth closed quickly and keeping it away from her face.

This was clearly the students cue to run.

The assignment is hastily written on the board:

- an 500 word essay on Glumgut's Theory, including
- how effective it may be at helping to choose the best method of scare tactics, and
- one example of fear that could be classified in at least two categories of Glumgut's theory, bonus points if you write about one that fits into all three while still being realistic. Make sure you explain just how they fit into the categories
- This homework will be graded!
- Please submit your homework to the mailbox in front of Professor Selene's Office before the start of her next class
