[1 v 1] Golden Eyes: Octopussy (Levi/Ren)

It was nearly the afternoon and Levi had come in to the indoor gym a bit later than she usually would have on a classless day such as this. She'd been visiting the woods more than usual recently in and out of her tatzelwurm form, inquiring about a certain treehouse she'd built awhile back. It hadn't been used as far as she could tell, but Critter still kept guard. The mini with the face of a cat and body of an octopus curled its tentacles around Levi's shoulder, nuzzling its head against her lower jaw as she entered the indoor gym, peering around.

Guess ya best be on yer way, Critter. Off ta tha woods with ya. Levi scratched under the chin of the mini while she spoke prodding at various tentacles to indicate further to the creature that she meant for it to release her from its grasp. Go'on now. Got some trainin' ta do. No, Critter hadn't understood the ghoul's words, but none the less it moved due to the prodding, sliding off from Levi's shoulder and down towards the shield floor tentacles first.

Atta Critter. Murmuring to itself, the mini stared up at the ghoul before wriggling towards the entry to the gym, meowing like an alarm when anyone came into view as it attempted to exit.

When he came moseying into the gym sometime in the early afternoon, Ren had not expected it to be completely filled, but he had also not expected it to have only one other person in the room. Brows lifting in surprise, he meandered casually over towards the ghoul, lifting a hand in greeting.

"Hey," he said, giving her an easy smile. She looked somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite place her. "This might seem a bit weird, but you aren't looking for anyone to spar with by chance, are you?"

As Critter left, Levi's eyes melt with someone entering the gym. The winged boil wasn't new; she'd seen him before. The appearance was familiar, but Levi didn't recall catching a name. Levi offered a smiled as he walked towards her, tail twitching in wide strides behind her.

Sure am. Ya'll'd be lookin' fer tha'right ghoul if yer fixin' ta'spar. I'm good ta go if yew are, fellar!

It was a pleasant surprise to be asked right off the bat from this winged boil. Why hadn't she seen him in the gym before? The smile remained as Levi leapt back a couple of times, offering more space for him to accompany her within the center of the room. Tilted her head slightly, the tatzel inquired about her new opponent's identity. Got'a name, boil?

Ren's wings fluttered a little, and then settled down against his back. The ghoul was pale-skinned and white haired, with an enormous tail that seemed to go on forever. He was sure he'd seen her around somewhere before, and now he smiled brightly at her.

"Good to know," he said, eyes twinkling. "And my name's Ren - what about you?"
