This role-play is very losely based on Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicals, and in turn is very loosely based on Egyptian mythology. That being said, feel free to stick close to the myths if you so desire, but please do not feel the need to follow them to a T. You do not need to know about the Kane Chronicals or any Egytpian mythology to join this role-play, but it is very recommended you look either one of both of them up so that everything runs as smoothly as possible. Ψ ɩmpσrtαnt Fσσtnσtes: The Ѧspects σf the Sσul Ψ

Long ago, it was believed that every person was born with two souls, the Ba and the Ka. The Ba was a soul’s personality, the part of the person that made them unique and wholly “them”. The Ka, the other part of the soul, entered in a person at birth and became their life force. A person could not function without both their Ba and Ka.
There was also a third part of the soul, the Ren, which was the person’s “soul name”. If another being held possession of your Ren, they would have full control over your life.
